@@andressantos4054 If I want to have the control board in the attic instead of sticking out from the wall. It should work fine just extending the IR and mounting it beside the nest and also just extending the wires to control thermostat?
@@michaelbox7285 as a matter of fact I found out that some minisplits output so much electrified air that in some rare cases I use that technique, I extend the ir wires, I have done it like 4 meters long and the ir led still sends enough power, you can see that in one of my “shorts” video that shows a pink nest, so yes, you can do that
