I just cried watching this, my grandfather who looks like ur dad, brought me up because I was the second girl born and my mom and dad at the time could not bring me up. He passed away not too long ago, but this video brought up in the same values, the same upbringing of love and unlimited unconditional love no matter of gender differences. This was a beautiful video, thank you so much 😊 💕

I think it’s so important to acknowledge people about this, because even today there are still some people in the Indian community where their mindset is that they would want a boy over a girl. There were even times where if you gave birth to a girl, that baby girl would get killed. It’s upsetting but it’s the truth.

Wow I cannot watch this video without crying. It’s very emotional. I am a mother of 3 daughters, people who I don’t know have said things that I never imagined. But Like your dad said it’s people’s mentality. I do tell them off and there isn’t no difference. A child is a God’s blessing. I know people or women who cannot have any kids but they really want one by all means even if it’s a girl! I personally think being a girl is a beautiful thing because we are levelheaded, strong. We go through a lot and yet we still walk with our heads up! We are the only ones who could form a human inside of us. We can be just as educated and still run a home. Sorry for this one but we can bleed for 7 days and die. Lol

This made me smile and I can’t believe they had 300 girl in the orphanage like That is so crazy. I like how your dad was like the girls are more prettier then the boys that just made me smile and be thankful that everything I have in my life. I am happy and so blessed that I was with a happy family and not in the orphanage with 300 girls even tho that is how it was but I’m blessed I was not there. I’m so grateful for what I have in life. Every person must see this video. Every single person. It's very necessary to wipe away gender based discrimination and stereotypes. And this honourable Father is one of the biggest examples of the changing mind. It's sad to say that we are still in this 'changing' phase, but at least you and your family have proved it that how beautifully a life can be led with adopting a child, especially a girl child and there's actually no difference in reality between a girl and a boy. It differs only when the upbringing is not correct, and when the society still choose to go on with blind baseless beliefs. I'm really Proud of you and your family. I am not adopted but the day that I was born one of my Dad’s cousin asked my dad that if he is disappointed that his first child was a girl and when my dad said no my mom says that the cousin’s face was just full of disgust and now this people have adopted you and all of your family are happy that you are girl and they don’t care about it they are just happy
