As a person who played since early 2000, what PE has done by offering paintball community a gun like the Etha 3M is awesome, especially considering guns can get up to $2000 or more. For $400, it's is the ultimate walk-on, bush-ball, backyard-ball, mechanical tournament paintball gun. It is reliable, easy to service, plenty of aftermarket support to make it your own or to improve performance. When I started, guns in the $400 or below range were either unreliable, hard on paint, difficult to service, inefficient, and just problematic.

My first marker was a Smart Parts Impulse Vision back in 2002. The only upgrade was a Freak barrel kit. I thought it was the coolest looking marker back then. It was just a giant chunk of aluminum compared to the modern markers, but it still works 22 years later!

@MattTheGymRat I agree. Just got back into the game in March after a 21 year hiatus. Went to the field, played a few points with a Ryze field marker. A couple 2 and 3 pieces. Then two weeks later, the DSR+ arrived at the house. Shot ok with the stock UL but it left me wanting more. Tried a LAZR kit, liked. Then a guy that eventually became a teammate handed me a .685 Parabolic. Slowed it down to 280fps and holy crap was it accurate and quiet. Taking bodies on break out and corners every point.
