I went from ISS Deluxe, through to to PES 2008, took up FIFA from 2013 - then binned FIFA in 2017, then rekindled PES via eFootball - so yeah, interesting to see what they did inbetween to be fair!
PES 2016 and 2019 were my favourite. I also played PES 10 and 13 on the Wii. You could edit and train a team of Miis as they were called, by buying them the kits or socks of Messi or Robben, so some of their stats were transferred to the Miis. Also you could use the Wii remote control to point to spots on the pitch to pass it there or to let your players make a run to where you were pointing at. Good old times with Master league and all that. Greatest games I’ve ever played. 😢❤

Would like to see Master League in efootball!! Still don’t understand why they haven’t evolved Master League into an online mode where the ability to purchase coins doesn’t exist.
This was a great game! I spent hours playing the master league! Having a master league is a deal breaker for me which is why I still play pes 2021 with modern patches! Konami don't deserve another penny with the crap they've churned out from 2022 onwards! 🤬🤬

In saying that, this was not the best example of good PES gameplay, the ones you want are PES 2018 and PES 2019.
The game was great until 2018. That was the last year when skill was essential. 2019 and later the game was more and more pay to win. Now it's just casual player friendly.
