The gamecube version is harder because no matter which car you choose, every car cant continue when crossing the spikes, and when you reset, you get automatically busted

Its a very lazy way to make the game harder, doing every event with 10 laps just gets boring and repetitive, harder should be harder not longer
It’s almost like most mod developers don’t actually know how to balance the game and just think harder and longer races equals better
They really dont.... Like trying to do Sonnys first circut race with 5 laps with my first starter car is impossible
Especially with the stupidly heavy cop cars
basically the call of duty approach.
reduce player health increase enemy damage (hard because its annoying, not because it challenges you)
a good example would be bungie approach with halo or destiny, enemys feel like they're thinking when they approach you, not just a expected scripted movement a sense of thought

Seems like a pretty crap mod. The roadblock cars being immovable is ridiculous and making races over 2x longer is just boring.

Long and annoying doesn't mean difficult but it's easy to implement

this mod seems to be more of a challenge of your patience more than being actually difficult..... pretty much made the game unbearable whilst extending the length of the game to about 5x more than the original length of the game.... 2/10 would not install
Been playing it for the past few hours now and it's basically just a waiting game until they crash, and you best bodyblock them when they inevitably come rubberbanding at twice your speed.

Most Wanted & Carbon were easy games so it's a good thing it exist modders who can improve things one and another.

I mean come on, would you honestly install a mod like this and playing throughout? In my opinion, this is s poorly executed mod..... Hell, even kuru gave up on it and he is a mw pro.... A actual good hardcore mod that is provided for a nfs game is the rebalance mod for nfs prostreet.... you should check that out if you want to see a good hardcore mod.....

And I'm honestly not in a mood returning to Pro Street since it wrecked my memory card five times or so, forcing me to start all over. The PS2 port is awful and unfinished.

Honestly, making the races longer is not a way to make it harder. The police and other stuff is enough to make it harder but 10 fucking lap is not a fun hard, its annoying

After an AI gets busted, cops just leave him alone and AI drives as usual and still eligible to win a race, although it's gonna be written "Busted" in the leaderboard, so in the race with Sonny he would've been a threat even if he gets busted
Adding laps up to 10 is just lazy and padding out game time.
@@philithegamer8265 It's not what I was referring to. Kuru said in the race with Sonny that if Sonny gets busted It would make an easy race, which, in fact, is false. Cops that bust AI just turn into supercops and drive away, leaderboard says "Busted" next to opponent's name, but AI keeps on driving as usual and still can win a race. But I wish any of the modders or me could fix this BS...

Most Wanted: Heat Edition. I have to say this look more like a proper hard mode then the rest of the really sluggish ones.
People who moan in the comments should try the endurance racing in High Stakes with both snow & night. Older NFS was way harder then this mod.
Here i am struggling vs first boss sonny. 4 laps race. His golf ridiculous fast. Unforgiving traffic & police like to box you in while leave ai racer easily. No nitro. Thank god they reduced no of laps from 10 to 4 in later update.

To be honest i think making all the circuit races at least 5 laps doesn't make the game harder or more enjoyable. Its just toxic to me.
