How does the course duration work, is it 55$ for one month and then one loses access to it?

Also, has the conde grown on you? It might just be this video but it seems to me that you've adjusted a bit to it/modified your technique/figured out how to get the best sound out of it

@@teok5665 I'm also curious how the patreon works. It's sounds a little stressful to pay for a course that you have to finish in a month. I'm not against paying monthly for continuous lesson material, but then it would be better to have all content available, not just the one topic.

I am working on my classical tremolo technique at the moment (2hours a day…). Long way, keeping stability up to 110 bpm, goal being 140-150 bpm…. In classical guitar, there is a « trick », we can play it also this way: thumb, middle-index-middle (see Ana Vidovic’s tutorials). The academic version being thumb, ring-middle-index. Very surprised to discover your flamenco version in quintuplets! I’ll definitely add into my practice routine! It sounds definitely more exotic! I’ll try it on the Recuerdos del Alhambra! Last but not least: metronome is your best friend to learn tremolo.

Hi Luciano, that was a very good lesson. Thank you. Just a little observation though. Wasn't it easier and better to simply mention the name of the practice chords rather than numbering them? Or there was a valid reason I don't get as I'm a beginner. You are a gifted teacher and I wish you all the best. Your tutorial deserved every minutes of attention.

Excellently explained with a high dose of pedagogical approach!
A small note: the vast majority of people will have trouble practicing tremolo when they have to switch from the first wire to the second and then to the third. It would be good to explain how to be precise and rhythmically accurate.

    Hi Luciano Ghosn..
    Hope all is well 👍
This Tremolo* video of the Flamenco genre is quite unique and well demostrated with both diagramatically of vertical fret board* focus and finger to be fretted and avoided with "x" marking made it more a smooth kids level level of understanding.. 👏👌Excellent teacher's approach dude.. 👏Thanks so much also for a typical flamenco type of chordal progression using the open* strings in between and a descending melodic line bar by bar makes it quite enjoyable and a fullness felt towards the end.. 🤗Good job friend.. 👏 God bless🙏 Warm cheers.. 😊

Hi Sir, I dont know how I found your chanel, but I am glad I found it. I have always played guitar with finger and I really like to play with fingers. My question to you is that often it is said that fingerstyle guitarist should not play with pinky finger. However, I play with all my fingers and with pinky on 1st string and rest for other strings, 5th and 6th with thumb. Is that totally wrong and should I change my technique amd leave pinky? I hope to get some clarity in this issue. Thank you.

    Love that Hermanos sound.
What were you planing for new courses? Something regarding chords, modes, scales? Also were you thinking of doing more tutorials of Vicente, Paco, Antonio...?
Also if I want to practice tremolo with metronome, where would the starting beat be? Always on the thumb?

    • @LucianoGhosn
      @LucianoGhosn  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Thanks! I have another course on the way regarding all the chords you need, with all the different positions all over the fretboard and showing on all different keys! That one is so much work that I have to put it on hold now. I have finished 3 videos from it and I have 5 more to go. It’ll be the most interesting one. As for the metronome with Tremolo, yes. You have to have the first note always starting with the thumb at the same time with the beat.

I would like to know the maker of the guitar you are playing. It sounds very good. Nice bass and well balanced overall. Other makers take note, fancy stripes and this and that take away from the beauty of a guitar. It is the wood used, the internals and the knowledge in the hands of the maker. You can copy plans, but that cannot be written down. The sound will captivate. Thanks Luciano.

My problem with tremolo is that is very soft, especially the 2nd and 3rd string against the basses. I try to play basses softer and high strings louder but always go back and feel like the melody is not heard well enough. Thanks for your work!!!

That's exactly the way to do it, melody is everything!
      Thanks for watching.

I've been playing electric guitar for a number of years (with a plectrum) what would be the first thing i should learn to take up flamenco guitar ? in other words, where do i start ?

Hey Paco, not because I want you to join my course but if you are interested in learning the techniques of flamenco of the right hand, this is literally what this course is all about. Keep in mind, I focused mainly on the right hand, so left hand are mostly basic things, but that’ll help you focus on your right hand.
Let me know if you have any questions.
      Cheers

For me, the hardest thing in the tremolo technique is playing on the 2nd string. It took me weeks to be able to play on the 1st string quite ok, but it's been years, and I still find my tremolo on the 2nd and 3rd strings awful.

Most guitarists play longer on the cheaper guitar. Sometimes it's just a release to not care too much how you treat the guitar. It usually puts a smile on your face, and sometimes it turns out the guitar is exceptional for the price (maybe $600 ish). Someone with an ear and good skill might find something in the $1k+ range and get close to a guitar that inspires. Sadly, any number of $400 to $2k guitars might get you there, or close. The ONLY fix from gasing is to have an expert, or guitar god you trust tell you personally, one on one, or at least in a believable video. I've heard some of the best live and in person from Mexico, and Arizona over the last 30 or so years. I don't even play Flamenco much. BUT, I do know you might find the value (and lasting enjoyment) is linked more to the playability and sound to your ear, especially if someone you know, like Paco De Lucia told you the guitar is good.
