looks like a typical Texas storm. I'd take that over the 102 degrees right now lol. Cool view!!
The NWS SPC rated this as by far the most costly thunderstorm in US history, with Iowa taking a huge brunt of that.
I see almost no lightning in every video I've seen of this like nothing behind the front
You can’t really hear any thunder either. The winds are blowing so fast that you you don’t even hear it until it’s already on top of you…it’s a characteristic trait of especially strong derechos.
