Wow my grand aunt had that exact CD Player model back in the 90s. She was in her late 60s and I had to show her how to use it. I found the device quite futuristic and wondered why she bought such a fancy and complicated machine instead of a simple boom box. BTW that problem with the CD tray is often just a loose belt on the loading motor. I've saved a couple of old CD players from the trash by simply replacing that one little part.
It's Impact Adjustment if you have to hit it once - it's percussive maintenance if you have to keep hitting it. I remember that doing that can be described as adding random noise to a system - adding dither. I saw this on some video about WW2 mechanical flight navigation computers that worked better while in the air being vibrated by the plane's engines.
Oh man. These videos. They bring a genuine smile to the face! Keep making them as "lazy" as you can! I'd say you tube is dying, but then again... there's Posy.
I would still buy that today just for the screen! I miss my old hi-if which used to have a volume nob which physicaly turned when you altered the volume using the remote so cool as a kid.
Ohh, I had the same device, including the Minidisc-Player, it must be somewhere in the basement. It allowed a digital copy from CD to Minidisc, and would even copy the CD-Text titles over. There was some plastic case for the remote (translucent blue obviously) which made it look slightly less cheap, and slightly harder to use. One of the most annoying features was that it had a fan that was always running, even in standby. At some point it made more and more noises, then I removed it from my bedroom.
Flat Pack Furniture made out of Medium Density Funboard strikes again. Sometimes you just have to give way to anarchy and put extra screws where the design doesn't call for any.
It's amazing what Pioneer was able to to with such a big display!
"to do"

Ahh yes, another therapy session with the man with the soothing voice and cool looking wire boxes.

Wow you really have a good eye for things that are retro futuristic in a 90s kind of way.
How nostalgic! My first car had a Pioneer sound system with a similar (smaller) looking display and an almost identical remote
This is getting dangerously close to the not lazy posy XD
I adore and appreciate everything you do, you're fantastic posy!
These videos are great to watch when I'm feeling lazy! Still nicely produced

I like the weird old machines AND your lego accent.
Local egg yells at glowing square
(Loving these little videos haha, keep up the good work!!)
it's always quality with you sir, even when it isn't.
I really wanted one of these when they were new.
The fact that it doesn't have the option to make it 100% vertical would drive me nuts. Also amazing how little info the display has.
I say it's quality content. Not everything has to be overproduced!
Yay dad uploaded a new video !☕
i love these videos the things you choose to show are always so unique and interesting!!
Wish I knew where you were finding these old hifi things, god it looks so cool
Also, I'm the one that asked about flowerspread recently haha

oh no, our table, it's broken
This would make an excellent element in a Rube Goldberg machine.
I'm happy to see you uploading here!!!!!
I like the way he does whatever he wants in the videos and says "Sorry sorry".Good practice😂.
YES ANOTHER VIDEO
Your gear is amazing. I can see on 8x zoom in 4k the dust on the freaking display. How do you get that level of detail?
I am insanely jealous of your stereo deck collection
Love how the intro is just live footage of his table slowly decomposing as he tries to connect it together. Definition of silly.
Don’t apologise for your accent :) good video
Cool thumbnail
Thank you 😅
this is a strange kind of funny ^^

This k-ck-ch-kkkk content Vvvvrrrrr-k-ck was k-ck-shck-k great.
2:36 same thing with my computer
2:29 😂😂
If they would have focused more on the cd tray than the flippin' vfd probably I couln't afford one.
I like your accent
Just what i need to end a slightly drunken night!
Thanks for the Video!
What a colossal waste of space lol. Idk why they didn't use the space to display more information - balance, EQ, or even a visualizer
There's a minidisc player too, just sayin 👀
The reason you won't see me in the next video is because I watch you, you don't watch me :) Looking forward to it!
Good point 🤔😁
man this video was so funny hahaha
👍😅
that's was funny, I still hate tapes though
Lazy Posy :v
Rubbish furniture paired with rubbish HiFi! Somehow art comes out the other end.
