in the first example a*b-1 = 7 which is not clear as the first number was 1 and 2nd was 2. so 1*2-1 = 1 (supposed to be) in the final example shown in the account creation form the same formula is used where a=5 and b=4 so 5*4-1 = 19 is correct and understood. I am pretty confused. will you please explain the calculation whether the first calculation was misinterpreted leading a wrong answer of 7 instead of 1.

Where you get 7? a = 1, b = 2. a*b = 2. a*b - 1 = 2 - 1 = 1. Not 7.
