Xi’an’s bustling market under the ancient city wall, full of delicious food, is a foodie’s paradise

This visit to the morning market is located at Wumu Gate (commonly known as: Xiaonanmen), Xi'an, Shaanxi Province.
Background:
Wumu Gate, commonly known as "Xiaonanmen", is located between the Hanguang Gate and Zhuque Gate of the southern city wall of Xi'an. The morning market is 342 meters long with 120 stalls, extending from Xiaonanmen to the Shuncheng Lane under Hanguang Gate. Every day from 6 am to 9 am is the bustling time of the morning market. Various snacks at the Xiaonanmen intersection: elbow meat buns, meatball hot and spicy soup, zheng cake, oil tea twist, crispy beef pie, cage meat buns, oil tower, donkey meat fire, honey cold cake, pepper chicken, tofu brain, tofu flower buns, water fried buns, pea yellow, etc., and a dazzling array of fresh fruits and vegetables, affordable prices, attracting nearby residents and many tourists to go, full of market fireworks.

There's so much variety of foods at reasonable prices. The customers are orderly, and patient when getting the orders, vendors also are the same. I wish we had similar things in our markets in the US.
