大通会場 大雪氷像制作風景【オンラインさっぽろ雪まつり2021】

さっぽろ雪まつり大通会場の大雪像、氷像の制作風景を紹介。雪像制作の為の雪が会場に運び込まれるのは年が明けてから一週間ほど経った頃、10トントラックで約3000台分の雪が札幌郊外や近隣の町や山から運び込まれる。運び込まれた雪の枠への積み込み、粗い削り出し、次第に細かい手作業へと工程が進む。雪像が精巧、緻密に作られて行く様子には目を見張るものがある。
Title:Large Snow & Ice Sculptures Production Scene at Odori site
Introducing production scenes of large snow and ice sculptures at Odori site in the Sapporo Snow Festival. About 3,000 of 10-ton trucks haul the snow to the site from suburbs of Sapporo and nearby mountains in the beginning of January. First, the snow is placed in a wooden frame and hardened. Next, a rough shape is made, and the detailed sculptures are made by hand. It will amaze you to see the elaborate process and the tranforming the block of snow into a sculpture.
