Shreya ghoshal is a great singer but cannot be lata Mangeshkar, lata ji never used the nasal tone, shreya ji if continued the "bairi piya" style she would have been a genuine singer, but she uses nasal tone, the song's genuineness goes away, u hear lata jis song for eg. "Aisi bhi baatein hoti hai" and then hear shreyas any song, she cannot be lata ji.. she can be her student like but not that same stage.
Shreya Ghoshal sings in different voice and different styles in different languages. Which only legendary singers like Shreya Ghoshal or sonu nigam can do which today's singers like arijit can't do

Main shreya ko kharab nahin bol sakta, she is really goo but not as great as Lata ji. Lata ji ko dhyaan se sunna kabhi, bollywood mein ab tak nahin aayi koi female singer jo second lata ji ban sake.. hear lata ji dhyaan se.. you'll get it, that honesty in Dard, khushi, mayusi, devotional song... you'll get it.
