That's what I've been saying all year. WE've had the number one defense most of the year and as you said these guys all wanted him gone a few years back. He took over Herman's lack of talent and it took time. It usually does take time to build a really good team, but fans want it day one.

@@burntorangehorn That's correct. A lot of things are said during games and in the heat of the moment which I can fully understand. We all get frustrated when the other team is ripping our defense over and over like in Charlie Strong days. But, be real. It takes time to build a championship defense without blatant cheating. The portal helps now, too.

It's hard to be excited about quinn. At times there are flashes of brilliance, and other times he just throw some horrible passes. He's a veteran quarterback, and making stupid mistakes keeps Texas from scoring more points. Allows opponents to stay in the game longer than they should.

He also has blown out OU twice, won the Big12 Championship, Beaten rivals Arky, and Ags, is about to play for another conference Championship and has now put us in the playoffs back to back. Ewers is frustrating bc of what we expect from his 5.0 rating. I would argue that he has done more than any QB since Colt. Us UT fans have a real problem with just taking the W and not criticize what we put under a microscope. As long as he plays good enough for the win is all I care about. It can be ugly just WIN!

What scary about this Longhorn team is I think they’re going to be even better next year you give me Arch Manning at QB that can run pass and in the backfield you have Trey Wisner, CJ, Baxter, and Gibson. 😮😮😮😮

10:40 gotta disagree Bobby. For a third year qb with the right system and players in place. You can and should expect near professional level qb play. The best place to be as a player is where expectations are high because you believe in him

Looking at the tipped interception play it looked like he intended a high throw - perhaps out of bounds or receiver only - I get your criticism but perhaps too nit picky too

Quinn was Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. Lucky that his second fumble was negated by penalty. He also had 2 other passes that should have been intercepted. But he also had several great plays.

I think they have him out there more as a decoy. On one of the routes, he didn't even complete it thinking he wasn't going to be thrown to, and Quinn threw to where he expected him to be.

It's a broken record at this point. Quinn just not good enough to bring home a trophy. Now the defense? Yeah, they're elite. Ewers is who he is. If he's scared to get hit in college, why does he want to go to the NFL? He's scared and rattled

Q fumbles when he runs and gets tackled. He needs to hold on to the ball. Careless and lazy with his short swing or out passes. He looked great moving around the pocket. Outside the number was good. Excluding stupid pass, I will take this Q. He played well. QW was awesome.
