Village life. I grew up in Guyana, SA, Indian origin. We cooked similar roti..sad roti. Our chulha (fireside) was different..higher up...my mother would be busy all day...hard work...poverty...I live in the US and I missed that life...

सब कुछ ठीक है गांव की लाइफ लेकिन रायते में तड़का गलत सा लगा हमारी माँ तो डिबले को आग में तो ऐसे ही करती थी लेकिन निकलने के बाद उसमें घी या तेल डाल कर फिर जीरा डाल के भूनती थी फिर रायते में डालती थी वाह फिर टेस्ट क्या कहने जी विडियो अच्छी लगी जी

If you want to taste local proper haryanvi food you may be not find it very tasty as it have lack of masala and tadaka. But it is healthy and after 1-2 month you will start liking it tastewise also. Simple food dahi,daal,sabji,saag, wheat roti, bajra roti, chana(mesi) roti, milk, chach. Lassi is punjabi drink it is made from curd but chach is milk after separating cream from milk.
My father was in army so he was very familiar with tamil food even before south indian food restaurant arrival in north. In army every haryanvi knows a madrasi always, They generally call them madrasi jat.

Thank God I have seen my parents respecting,caring and loving each other.Seeing this video,any woman will get scared of marriage. Not because she has to work a lot but there is no love in this family.Very disturbing that there is no communication between husband and wife.
Maybe she is not allowed to have a say so, I notice he eats and waits and she eats last, that's ok if its your family but my father always waited until my mother sat at the table and then he served the kids and my mother, we all eat together, no one eats alone
