    your lessons are amazing. would you be able to share the vocabulary in text form too, maybe on the video description? it would help learning and memorising. but thanks for everything.

    My dear teacher Angela, could you please give me a clue. How can I know an Arabic word like "Bank مصرف " whether masculine or feminine.What method do you suggest for this? Allah bless you.Bye.

    • @learnmodernstandardarabic
      @learnmodernstandardarabic  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Maşrif is a masculine word. I advise you to watch the beginning of this lesson which has a diagram of feminine signs in Arabic:

    Thanks for sharing.
    If it is not a problem to you, can I request you how to say, take a U turn.

    • @learnmodernstandardarabic
      @learnmodernstandardarabic  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Very welcome.
      U Turn = دوران للخلف or دوران عكسي and No U Turn signs will say: ممنوع الدوران للخلف / ممنوع الدوران / ممنوع الدوران العكسي
      You might know دائرة as circle and verb daara دار to turn or go in cicular motion. دوران is a noun meaning turning in circlular motion

    • @learnmodernstandardarabic
      @learnmodernstandardarabic  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      So in th imperative:
      استدر للخلف
      Istadir lil khalf
      Also iltifaaaf is turning around
      التفاف
      قُم بالالتفاف ...
      قُم بالدوران إلى الخلف...

      @@learnmodernstandardarabic Thanks a ton. Yikhlif alekhaki ma'am. I wasn't expecting a reply. I am much obliged.
      I am learning on my own and found your channel purely by chance (epiphany for me). I always find it difficult to explain taxi driver to go liitle ahead, take a U turn and stop just inside the compound gate as golf cart comes there to pick us up.
      I wish growth to your channel. I am turning many of your lessons into hand written notes. Now onwards, I will leave a cooment always. When the time is right, I will be joining you. Thank you so much.
