Its ageism. At some point this misconception arose that with age every person develops dementia and becomes an invalid. Has no one interacted with 70 year olds? There are plenty of perfectly capable and intelligent people that age. Noam Chomsky is in his 90s. You have bands from the 70s still touring etc. You are the same person you always were even as time passes. Your passions and talents may evolve over time but they dont necessarily disappear. Pete and Bas obviously kept sharp and with how they behave theyve kept in touch with their youth. The whole crew of Geezers seem to be trying to break the misconceptions of what it means to be old and breaking the stigma of how old people should behave. In videos they are dancing, having cookouts and playing soccer. They quite literally are the same people they were at 20 but time happened. Their backs and bodies have changed but they still are them. Its disappointing because I see the message they are trying to promote but people are still too closeminded in 2024 to believe them. Also a lot of Americans buy into this misconception about age because age is not valued here. Youth and beauty are. Americans often do get sick at these ages because of a lack lf healthcare, processed unhealthy foods and lord knows what other toxic stuff, and working themselves to death most of their lives. They become like a husk and buy into the social pressure to behave and believe a certain way. No matter what age you are, you matter and are valued imo. You choose your way of life. This gives me the same vibes as when a new study comes out that says some animal is actually intelligent, or can feel pain unlike what was previously believed. We dont know $hit! We should let people show us who they are and what they can do instead of constantly being shocked by the obvious, gasp, old people can be talented too.

These guys are 91 Shots and Handsome Dexter, credited on every song by Pete and Bas and even a lot of the Northern Boys too. The smoking gun that proves they're the ones doing all this is they're both the directors of Sindhu World, the owners of Sindhu Sesh where these guys first came out. They're listed on the company directory under their actual names and have been since like 2017, Bas is a piano player and former notary and council member for Croydon, real name Basil Preuveneers. He's also done some background acting work. Im 90% sure Dex does the voice for Bas, it becomes clearer when you listen to the american version of old men rappers Frank and Maury because one of their voices is literally "Bas" with an american accent. Frank and Maury were also managed by Sindhu World. Petes a bit trickier because his speaking voice is really close to his rapping voice, and his flow clearly changed and improved as they released songs so I'm pretty sure he's actually rapping. I still think Pete and Bas help with writing purely based on some of the more obscure old school references they make in their songs. So they weren't exactly lying when they said they do their own writing, they just don't do it alone. I'm not saying this to out them because I don't think it diminishes how fucking incredible they are at writing and rapping, it's clear now that they've stepped in front of the camera they've decided they want the mask to slip. Wouldn't surprise me if they announce the whole thing this year, the novelty has worn off for some people I think.
@@CliffBeatsOfficial The delivery and patterns definitely have overlap, but identical is going pretty far. Also...if you spent 7 years working on the music for Pete & Bas...why wouldn't you pick up a lot of their tendencies?
@@CliffBeatsOfficial After examining their authenticity for longer than I care to admit, my initial conclusion when I first saw them years ago and my conclusion today remain the same: co-written at least and flowcoached. Dex and Bas being related, and looking remarkably similar, it's not a stretch that they would have very similar physiology in vocal cords, bone structure, affect, dialect, vocal range.
Wouldn’t surprise me at all if these guys do the vocals for Pete and Bas. Same flows and similar voices. I’ve seen Bas doing lip sync stuff a few years back for a TV show and wouldn’t be surprised if he’s doing the same here.
Heres some info i found looking about online. According to BMI Songview which details offical copyright license details or registered people, Addison Barnaby Baxtor (handsome dexter) and Gibson Jonathon Charles Lewis (91 shots) ( Nine and Dex in the recent song) are the only listed writers/composers with pete and bas listed as performers on some songs but not most of them its mainly blank. Those 2 are also the 2 Directors and only position holders of SinduWorld as listed on Company House UK. SinduWorld was also behind Frank and Maury and do the music for all the old ones in the group.
Great research 👏 For me I think this adds to the whole thing, it doesn’t detract. The layers of context enhance the whole phenomenon. I still love Pete & Bas and also hope Nine & Dex go massive as well. The whole concept up until now has been executed 10/10, including this song which was an intentional lifting of the curtain imo.

Nine and Dex are the stage names of 91shots and Handsome Dexter, the two producers of most of Pete and Bas tracks. They are also DJs during live shows. The song "Pecan Pie" by Nine and Dex is a collective effort, with both Nine and Dex admitting to help from their grandfathers, Pete and Bas.
Whether anyone has mentioned it in the comments or not. Pete and Bas write all their lyrics and Nine and Dex do their beats. 91shots and Handsome Dex is the producer for Pete and Bas. Dex is Bas's grandson and Nine is Pete's grandson.
Nine and Dex are time travelers, they went into the future and grabbed their older selves and brought them back in time, and now they go by Pete and Bas..... So they write for themselves, prove me wrong.

I would assume the camera work is the same because Nine and Dex produce all of Sindhu Worlds stuff, and I am assuming Sindhu world is who is doing the filming, I don't think they wrote everything for Pete and Bas the flows and topics are very different, not to mention the cadence
I've been to their show in Belfast last year. Spoke to Pete as well. I always suspected they didn't write but there's no denying they perform and deliver. Seen it with my own eyes and heard it obviously

I don't understand how people have a problem with believing that these 2 guys are just grandsons of pete & bas. Its not any deeper than that. If you know anything about the UK and the culture, Pet & Bas totally make sense. I mean I was lucky enough to live there for 15 years. Thery are just 2 old gangster types that can flow. And its not much of a stretch to assume that the kids of course have an influence but its not some grand conspiracy to hide something. The 2 old guys are DOPE AF, just give them their props and keep it movin. These guys are fire AF. Nine is 91Shots the producer for Pete & Bas beats. Dex is Handsome Dexter also a producer if im not mistaken.
Its apparently their grandkids, you can hear it, if it is this has all been the plan from the start nine and dex pushing pete and bas to slingshot their own work and if thats the case hats off to pete ans bas for being good grand parents, just a theory
Honestly I think Pete and Bas do actually spit the bars cause they do live shows and a voice changer wouldn't be ideal, although if it was then they have entertained a lot of people cause the bars the lyrics the flows are always brilliantly done; it might be a case now we're maybe they want to step back and let their grandson's take the limelight and am definitely here for it they are good ✌️
No, Deangelo Asesino, also known as Dex, is not the voice of Bas. Instead, Pete and Bas are a British hip hop duo consisting of Peter Bowditch and Basil Bellgrave. Pete and Bas are known as the "grandfathers of UK drill". They've been active since 2017 and are signed to Sindhuworld. The duo have said that they write their own songs, but they do get help from their grandchildren, including Deangelo Asesino, who goes by the stage name Dex
Pete & Bas stand by the fact that they write their own songs, but have admitted that they get help from their grandchildren, which is fair considering the ever-changing aspects of drill music and the UK street slang, their grandsons drop the beat.
I heard they're related. Dex is the spit of bas and has a similar voice. But they are different, I'm sure of it. It's no surprise Pete and bas have had help writing their bars, but I also believe Pete and bas contribute heavily to the vernacular used and of course their delivery speaks for itself.
Anyone in any doubt about if it's legit the old men, watch the fumes plugged in back stage interview, it's the old boys hitting tracks themselves, believe man are old g's
Shh.. wrestling isn't fake! But you're right about the old boys aging out, it's smart of Barney to get ahead of it, but lets hope Pete and Bas and the boys are here for years to come!
Conspiracy theory: with his recent health problems, Pete isn't going to be able to keep doing this much longer, so the kids are putting stuff out now to grab the listeners while they can.
They literally have the same ‘omelette deux fromage’ intro as Pete and Bas tunes, the lyrics on the video are the same font and color as Northern Boys videos. It’s obvious these are the guys behind everything.
I believe nine and dex have a big hand in it but it's the old guys voices. You can hear the age and raspiness in them. It's been too consistent and gone on too long to be a joke. Pete sounds exactly the same when he talks. Old people can sing and still have rhythm. If you have rhythm and are quick thinking spitting bars isn't hard. The way they do it isn't too complex. It's nothing they couldn't do with practice and obviously they've had a lot over the last few years.
They 100% are the writers. They might even be the rappers instead of Pete and Bas. Bas sounds extremely similar to Dex. Nine would have to squeeze his voice to do Pete, but it's possible.
Pete and Bas do their own raps they have never claimed that they wright their own stuff but even that being said they have tallent to put the raps on wax the way they do being in their 70's
It's kind of funny watching people see this video and then state "Pete & Bas ghost writers" like they've cracked a code. Nine & Dex are credited on most Pete & Bas tracks (as 91 Shots and Handsome Dexter) and they're related to Pete & Bas (I mean, Nine is the spitting image of Bas, lol). It's a family thing, so it isn't as simple as saying they're just "ghost writers" and Pete & Bas made no secret of the fact they get help off their grand kids, but as a lifelong Londoner myself I'm pretty certain Pete & Bas write a lot of their own lyrics too as they include a lot of the slang and references from older generations that, I guess, might not be so detectable to those listening from outside the UK
I guess you're not as old as Pete and Bas, yet you know the 'old time' slang. So why wouldn't Nine & Dex? Especially if they are related. I'm sure they would have spent time with the oldsters in family get togethers and pubs. If you get a mixed age bunch in Bermondsey pub today, it'll sound more old school cockney than Croydon!
Dex’s voice is so much clearer than Bas’s. They may sound similar but Dex has no grit or raspiness he just has a deep voice like, almost like his grandfather had a deep voice or something 🤔
Pete an bas have done live shows at most they might write for eachother but let's be honest if your granddads was rappers you'd follow there flows and plus Pete and bas have been around for years theses have just popped up
Pete&Bas have stated their grandsons help them write. I wouldn't be shocked if their grandsons did >90% of the writing and taught them to mimic their styles as well.
Nine and Dex made their first appearance on the artwork to Keys and Bags (the audio release) You can see the tops of their heads 😂 I always knew they were the two guys that appeared at their live shows

The accents and where they're from are why they sound similar. It's the accent, not the voice. Bas & Pete's accents are different and so are Nine & Dex. I do not think at all that these two ARE Pete & Bas, at all. The conspiracy theory I've seen from reactors has actually killed how fire this song is since the whole time people just keep saying how this is Pete & Bass ghostwriters or that it's them without effects or whatever. Maybe they're ALL talented? It's not that far fetched. It could be that Nine & Dex helped them figure out their flow because Pete & Bas sound the same on almost every song with the same flow. So it's like they taught them one flow and now Pete & Bas write their own music with that one flow in mind. It's not that hard to write in this style, it's a simple kind of scheme. These bars go WAY harder than what Pete & Bas do for sure in terms of all the doubles and such. They might assist them but I don't think I'd say they're full on ghostwriters for them, much less them actually being them.

Pete and Bas rapping along to it live won’t point out any differences cause most people naturally sound different live.
91 shots and Handsome Dexter are producers on Pete&Baz’s work.
Pete & Baz have said that they write with their grandchildren and you can see that, but the old lingo that Pete & Baz use is not well known to a lot of the youth. But it’s a collaboration in my opinion, Nine and Dex were fire in this though and I couldn’t care less if they wrote every bar that Pete & Baz rap
The fact that you used "couldn't care less" lifts my heart....Props.
@@SeeDaRipper... Same, man. That shit kills me 😂
To be fair Pete and Bas have said numerous times that their grandchildren helped them write and they will sound like each other because there are grandpa and grandson and you learn your mannerisms and accent etc from your family, in close families babies spend most of their time with close family members, often grandparents who often are the day care if both parents work, so that connection is not really that big of a thing.
I think people are trying to make it out to be some kind of conspiracy theory when really it’s not, it’s blown way out of proportion, but online that seems to be a thing, it’s like an addiction for some people, they seem to live and breathe trying to turn everything into something it’s not, lol
People need to get out more, go touch grass, connect with reality

100 percent
They’re all related, is it that hard to believe they will sound and act similar when it comes to their music?
Sounding similar and having the same exact delivery and patterns are completely different topics. They are identical.
EXACTLY!!! THEM GANGSTA GENES RUN DEEP!! (Pete & Bas

@@trworthamexai agree 100% they gotta do a collab
These two produce everything Pete&Bas do. Plus as their grandkids they help keep up with the slang
Wouldn’t surprise me at all if these guys do the vocals for Pete and Bas. Same flows and similar voices. I’ve seen Bas doing lip sync stuff a few years back for a TV show and wouldn’t be surprised if he’s doing the same here.
They absolutely are
Heres some info i found looking about online.
Great research 👏
For me I think this adds to the whole thing, it doesn’t detract. The layers of context enhance the whole phenomenon. I still love Pete & Bas and also hope Nine & Dex go massive as well. The whole concept up until now has been executed 10/10, including this song which was an intentional lifting of the curtain imo.
@SWJ_ yeh, personally I don't care if the don't write there stuff, plenty of chart rappers don't. It's all just a performance at the end of the day.
I only have an issue if you start beefing with someone else and you ain't writing or doing anything, if just sticking to having fun and promoting the industry then I don't see a problem.
Watch the video for Pete & Bas - Get Low. It's filmed in the same field with the motor-cross jumps in the background
Pete and boss have always been honest about the fact that their grandkids help them with the current slang. As far as I understand, these are their grandkids, so it makes sense that they sound like the original duo.

What if it's the other way around and Pete and Bas write and lay down reference tracks for Nine and Dex? 🤔
Lol come on
It’s not though is it… Pete and bas deliver it better for me . But these guys write and produce all Pete and bas tracks

Love how your head bobs naturally. True music lover
Nine and Dex are time travelers, they went into the future and grabbed their older selves and brought them back in time, and now they go by Pete and Bas..... So they write for themselves, prove me wrong.
Pete and bas have a few live shows recorded on youtube, so I doubt it's a voiceover, but obviously it's a collective effort

With the slang they are using? Highly doubtful. Pete and bas are using terms created over the last couple years. 🤷♂️
@@CliffBeatsOfficialthey also use slang that was only used for their generation pretty often. By your logic, that implies that they must have written it lmao. All 4 of them have said that the grandsons help with modern slang and writing and you’re somehow surprised 😂
@@eh-fp6lj I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a group project. The average amount of song writers per song is 12 artist so 4 wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility.
@@CliffBeatsOfficial I appreciate the reply. Interaction from creators that are as busy as you is rare. I saw another reactor’s reaction and he pointed out a few of the bars were different from Pete and Bas’s normal flow structure/style but I can’t deny that atleast half of the bars do sound very much like Pete and Bas’s flow and rhyme structure. I think that’s somewhat expected though because Bas’s grandson looks and sounds almost exactly like him. If they hadn’t done so many live shows already I’d probably believe that their grandkids voice the bars for them
@@CliffBeatsOfficial I feel like Bas’s grandson delivers his flow slightly slower and more calmly. That’s not exactly the best wording to explain what I mean but I can’t think of a better description of the difference at the moment

Nine and Dex ARE 91shot and Handsome Dexter the producers making all the music for Pete and Bas. It's all good
Firstly, kinda stands to reason that family will have similarities in both appearance and even voice/accent. Secondly it's always been well known that these 2 help Pete and Bas write their bars. Pete and Bas do most of the heavy lifting while these guys help with culture references/lingo etc. to keep them current.

👍👍👍👍👍👍
91 & dex got them geezers bars too.."aye yo pops come rap this for me..😂🎉❤
I heard they're related.
Casisdead is also rumoured to ghostwrite for them, which makes more sense as they use multiple flows from him.
i think these two taught them the basics then Pete and bas turn it into their own style why i think there's a slight similarity
Finally the truth revealed, Pete and Bas are the ghostwriters behind Nine and Dex!!!!! I knew it!!!!!!
Conspiracy theory: with his recent health problems, Pete isn't going to be able to keep doing this much longer, so the kids are putting stuff out now to grab the listeners while they can.
They can be the ghost writers for Pete & Bas all they want because its not just the bars that make Pete & Bas its the delivery and flow as well...
They literally have the same ‘omelette deux fromage’ intro as Pete and Bas tunes, the lyrics on the video are the same font and color as Northern Boys videos. It’s obvious these are the guys behind everything.

It’s been well known for quite a while that Pete and Bas’s grandsons were ghost writing for them
Ever heard of ghost writers😂
I believe nine and dex have a big hand in it but it's the old guys voices. You can hear the age and raspiness in them. It's been too consistent and gone on too long to be a joke.
Pete sounds exactly the same when he talks.
Old people can sing and still have rhythm.
If you have rhythm and are quick thinking spitting bars isn't hard. The way they do it isn't too complex.
It's nothing they couldn't do with practice and obviously they've had a lot over the last few years.
If are one and the same, I want to think its Dex & Nine using Pete & Bas voices 🤭🤣
They 100% are the writers. They might even be the rappers instead of Pete and Bas. Bas sounds extremely similar to Dex. Nine would have to squeeze his voice to do Pete, but it's possible.
They made a familiy buisness! Great, good for all of 'em!
Pete and Bas do their own raps they have never claimed that they wright their own stuff but even that being said they have tallent to put the raps on wax the way they do being in their 70's
How Old were they in 2017?
Their WTITERS??!!
IT'S THEIR YOUNGER SELVES.
It is the grandkids
Almost everybody has ghost writers. But it's them performing: th-cam.com/users/results?search_query=pete+and+bas+live+breezee

Pete&Bas have stated their grandsons help them write. I wouldn't be shocked if their grandsons did >90% of the writing and taught them to mimic their styles as well.
Everyone knew thier grandkids wrote thier stuff
This has been known and (to me at least) doesnt hurt their credibility or talent AT ALL

Surprised that the Swedish bar was legit 😅
I think it’s the other way around and Pete and Bas write for them
