You have ignored temperature for the test, I guess the test is only to demonstrate the source measure unit.

    Good work.
Can you please tell us where to get the source measure unit

    Hello Berry,
I need to ask you something related to a flooded lead-acid battery I am using in my APS system at home, I think this battery is meant to be used in a vehicle not sitting at home. Someone recommended that I shake this battery every few days to maintain its life, is this true? do you recommend it?

Is that a good curve on the graph and should most other batteries represent a similar curve ?

It could depend on the battery. For more information, feel free to reach out to our application engineering team at yca-support@yokogawa.com

Can we use gs610 to charge battery.?

The GS610 can be used to simulate the charge/discharge operation of secondary batteries such as lithium-ion and nickel hydride batteries.

    Really cool video.

It's overkill to use SMU for battery capacity measurement. An electronic load will do just fine.

It could depend on the precision needed. This video was just an example application for the SMU.
