Heavenly Marriage - ازدواج آسمانى

Marriage Anniversary of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (A) and Lady Fatima al-Zahra (A).

Archangel Jibra'il (a) said to Holy Prophet (s): "The Marriage ceremony of Amir al-Momenin Imam Ali (a) with Lady Fatima al-Zahra (a) took place on Arsh (Heavens) forty days prior to the marriage ceremony which took place on the earth. Almighty Allah arranged for their Marriage in such a manner that He addressed the dwellers of Heavens to dress themselves with ornaments of Paradise and then ordered all the Angels to assemble together on the 4th sky. Almighty Allah then filled the 4th sky with Divine Light (Noor) and then appointed Hazrat Adam (a) to recite the sermon to begin the ceremony. After the sermon of Hazrat Adam (a), Almighty Allah ordered an Angel named Raheel (a) to recite the verses of praise (Hamd). Raheel (a) is the most beautiful of Angels and possesses the most beautiful voice. After recitation of Hamd, Almighty Allah informed me (Archangel Gabriel) that He has performed the Nikah of Hazrat Fatima al-Zahra (a) with His 'chosen one' Amir al-Momenin Ali (a) and ordered to spread this news among the Angels. I acted accordingly and made all the Angels testify the event."
