Hey guys, in this video today we will show you how to remove and Replace RV Vent Lid, Camper roof vent lid.
We have a 2002 model motorhome and it has been exposed to sun which made the RV Vent Lids very fragile.
If you do not replace those immediately it will seriously damage your RV CAMPER. This RV Vent Lid cost us only $10 with free shipping from Home Depot.
This should work on most campers built between 1994 and 2008.

Have to say, the sliding hinge was the piece of information I was missing, so thanks for the video! The next problem is finding a replacement for a Ventline 24"' X 24" no fan vent cover.
There are are sheet metal tabs in each end of the hinge that are curled down to keep the dome from sliding sideways and getting out of alignment. If you can't slide the dome off the hinge, check to see if there is a curled tab of metal holding it in.

I guess there are several different types of connection methods on the edge of the skylight and important to buy a skylight that matches your base - find it confusing.
