Absolutely brilliant celebration of 65 years of this amazing brand with racing in its genetics.. lovely to meet the classic Ginetta owners and have a peek inside a professional racing garage at work.
Fascinating video Simon. That G21 looks fabulous, I see what you mean about the hints if DBS at the rear. I think I see a hint of Triumph GT6 in the rear quarters and classic Lotus at the front. So many versions that that I wasn't aware of. The silver G4 screams classic Jaguar racer, it really is a stunning car. I also like the look of that green G32 convertible looks so of it's time and looks all the better for it and the bits that are borrowed from Ford are all pretty good. I always did like the MK3 Fiesta dash. Having access to the garage with those race cars was a really nice addition to the video.
I must admit that it wasn’t a brand I knew so much about (and they are Yorkshire based!) but did remember some of their cars. The G32 is a really lovely looking little sports car, especially in convertible form and that green paint with pop-up lights made it for me.
Great video. The G10 at 5:25 looks fabulous. Was the V8 a factory install? The dash at 11:34 looks familiar having owned a mk3 Fiesta. Definitely not a mk4 dash.
Hi Rob, I think the G10 was a factory install, I'd never heard of this but it's a 100% Cobra rival. Thanks for clarifying the Fiesta dash... I knew I'd seen it before!! The G32 is a lovely little sports car as well.
I own a g20 stateside and so I thank you immensely for making this video I think Ginetta needs a lot more publicity
Thanks very much
I totally agree Warren, it's a plucky little company and a real survivor. I didn't know they sold them in the US..
Same here, Warren. Two Ginetta G15s in NY

Wow for the G33! it's got the air extractors from the back of a Lotus Esprit V8, but then again, what a surprisingly homogenous Ginetta!
(oh! just remembered the Ford escort Cosworth air extractor... so Ford parts bin I suppose...)
They apparently had a great relationship with Ford despite being a small manufacturer, they were neighbours when based in Essex

@@Lot76CARS Yes I didn't know much of them either. I think that are based in or near Leeds these days.

Any contact details for the orange g15, would love to get in touch with the current owner
It was a Ginetta Owners Club display so I think that’s the best start point www.ginetta.org. Hope you can track them down!
