A lot of the members have worn gender neutral or female clothes before (I know we don't like labels and you can wear whatever you want, it's just for clarification here). It hasn't only been on stage either but also personal clothes as well. People tend to talk the most about Jimin though, but if one looks a bit closer you'll notice how he's hardly alone in breaking gender norms. 💜
jimin and jeongguk were wearing corsets. and yes, even in one of the recent interviews, jeongguk had said fashion has no gender. you will see the members wearing many 'feminine' clothes and in 2015 they even had a photoshoot with fishnets and skirts. not to mention, they wear makeup too and are not afraid to wear frills.

As a dancer you may have picked up how his style changed as the video progressed. He dancing with joy, the leaping, but slowly he starts suffering, writhing, until he dies. It’s such a beautiful dance.
you being a dancer should definetely watch some of bts choreography videos, such as Fake love, IDOL and Black swan ^^ they are killer dancers! the 3 main dancers are 3J (jimin jungkook and jhope) but v also is part of the danceline now :) but the 2 that have most experience with dancing is jimin and jhope.

Big Hit first released “Black Swan” in the form of an art film choreography performed by seven dancers from the Slovenian MN Dance Company musically accompanied by BTS vocals and a string quartet This presumably was part of the concurrent BTS global art project called Connect BTS which was designed to highlight artists in many world cities in making art in a variety of genres. It also was intended to be a tease of the Map of the Soul: Seven album. BTS a couple weeks later would perform a comeback stage of "Black Swan" not in South Korea but on the James Corden Late Late Show. James Corden is one of BTS's favorite tv hosts, always playful but consistently respectful unlike many obligatory interviewers they encounter who concentrate on their visuals and not their music.

Wings harness, Jimin & Jungkook. Jimin also martial arts, including Taekwondo black belt. My theory is the reason he's so good with his focus and isolations is his Taekwondo training. I think it also affects his character, because Taekwondo's ethical precepts seem to be things he takes very seriously, like he aligns with that way of living. I've been watching Jimin since I discovered BTS about 10 months ago. And I believe he is a proprioception genius. A lot of the fooling around that he does seems to be him experimenting in space and time, to see how things move. If you ever see the behind stage and rehearsal for the MMA 2018 medley stage, watch what he does when everybody goes to lunch, and he finally starts to work with the red fan to see how it behaves. So most idol groups all members dance but they have a dedicated "dance line" which are the dance leader and main dancers etc. For Bts the dance line was originally J-Hope, Jimin and Jungkook. V got added to the dance line officially back in 2018. There is a special stage known as the 3J dance and it's amazing. J-Hope was a street and underground dancer before BTS. He was part of a dance crew and has been dancing since he was little. Jimin did some popping when he was younger but ended up going to school for contemporary and modern dance. Jungkook had no prior dancing experience prior to becoming a trainee for bighit. They actually sent him to the US to study hip hop. All the members work really hard on all of their dancing and work to improve or hone their skill.
Hello new subscriber here from Melbourne Australia. That scene near the end where Jungkook bends backwards over the balcony. That would take a lot of core strength to be able to do that and come back up seemingly effortlessly. And he did it while wearing a corset.

The song was inspired by the movie The Black Swan, they performed it at The Late Night with James Corden and their not wearing shoes. If you remember you reacted to the Dance practice of ON and you noticed Jimin was barefooted they actually did the dance practice of Black Swan first(if I remembered it correctly)
I think you should also check out the Black Swan Art Film which is an orchestra version of the song, performed by a contemporary dance company. It's very moving, if you like dance and theatre.
