Another thing obsidean is great for is psychic attack. I have a few pieces. I'm a very lucid dreamer from time to time and had someone kept coming into the dream. Several people all had the same dream. So I love it for that. Still learning to scry with it.

I used a fist-sized piece of obsidian in my house where there are a lot of energies of conflict. Whoosh! It was so powerful I had to put the rock back in the box after half an hour, because ALL of the cobwebs came out of the shadows. Holy cow. Obsidian is no joke. I respect that stone. Black tourmaline is more gentle, I think.

It is perfectly elementaly balanced. It is fire, that through air and water becomes earth. I always feel that because of this transformative journey, it helps transform energy. so interesting you call it dragon. ive been sleeping with my obsidian and i have always had mundane dreams or really adventurous dreams but there are things ive never dreamed of that others commonly have like flying for example. Its not my first time sleeping with my obsidian but after a night of intense shadow work than sleeping directly after it, with the obsidian on a dragon appeared in my dreams and coaxed me to interact with it. Im not a strong lucid dreamer yet so I wasnt lucid, but my dream self last night was too scared to interact with the dragon but i couldnt take my attention away from it. I dont know what it means for me but It feels like a breakthrough in my spiritual journey and its such a synchronicity that this is the first time ive ever been heard it be associated with a dragon, but it also feels like a serious challenge test is soon to come and i need to keep my eye out for it's manifestations in the real world. if i had watched this video before today the term dragon wouldve meant nothing personal to me but i first heard it here at a time where it lines up eerily well. something for me to possibly be concerned about

Water will cleanse anything but there are a few fire element stones that prefer to be cleansed with the element of fire. This is chief among them. Passing your stone quickly and carefully through the flame is tricky but one way. Be blessed.
I have a slab of obsidian it is 1.6m long 760mm wide and 100mm thick reclaimed from a dump , yes it is absolutely flat and smooth all round
I picked it up 10 years ago, it weighs approx 240+ kg and grey in colour and when I say its pefectly flat and polished I mean ITS FLAT AND SMOOTH and always cold to the touch
Some have said it is either an alter top or similar but I have no idea what it is, but its huge, heavy and solid Obsidian

Does black obsidian work good against bad spirits and spells sent against you and could it be a size of pea in my pocket with it?
It does help dispel darkness sent your way but it needs your help. You'll want to stay high vibe, be mindful and connected to your guides and highest self. The larger the better with most gemstones so I would try something a little larger if possible and it also helps to wear it. Blessings! ✨💜

Absolutely! Obsidian and Rose Quartz work on different chakras and have separate energies so they do not interact. If you want both shielding and love, for instance, this is a great pairing. And may you be blessed with both!!

Hi Thérèse! I usually find my beads at local fairs and trade shows but I have found lots of good sellers at Etsy.com as well. The sellers often change their inventory so for something like Shungite, you may need to shop around a bit, but it's out there.

what if someone randomly put a crystal in my car that I don't even drive any more I looked in the back seat and there was a huge black crystal on my back seat in plane site it was a shiny yet rough crystal
Take that as a gift. But cleanse it first. Sweep it through sage or Palo Santo smoke and run it through the flame of a white candle while dedicating it to your highest good. ♥ There is nothing more beneficial than a crystal that was gifted no matter who gave it. But cleanse 😉
Does it help with healing?
It can. It depends on the area in need of healing. General healing occurs in the Heart Chakra center which resonates with green or pink gemstones. Mala Peace!
I've had an obsidian sphere change its weight in my hand as I rolled it around... any thoughts.
I do! The deeply grounding energy of Obsidian can feel heavy until we acclimate ourselves to the feeling. I've worn malas that actually hurt because they felt so heavy. I could only keep them on for 5 or 10 minutes at a time for 3 or 4 days until my body got used to the feeling of being grounded. If the sphere felt like it became lighter, I propose your body surrendered to the grounding. If it became heavier, I propose you had become ungrounded. This isn't a reflection on your normal energy but we can ground and unground with a thought.

I need to ask what is happening ? I have pixiu obsidian bracelet and for some reason when I'm wearing my left arm till hand feels strange sensation and heavy. What is happening ? Im pretty freaked out
No need to freak out. This is normal. The heavy feeling is grounding. If you are in need of grounding you can really feel it. It can also tingle and sometimes it hurts. Very informative, thank you. I used small raw stone black obsidian pendant a few times. The last time I wore, I hit my head so hard in my car. It was super painful and I got scared, isn’t it supposed to protect😰 I also have smudged it with sage. How to keep and use it for protection?
Thank you Protection! Protection doesn't work quite like that. If it did, we could just wear Obsidian and never fall ill or leave this realm. Its more energetically shielding than physically protective. I'd say when something like that happens, the Universe is trying to get our attention, which can be painful. To clear it, smudging is great as a maintenance system but if it needs to be cleared of accumulated energy, fire spirit works best with this volcanic glass - direct sunlight or passing it through a candle flame could do well. Alternatively, keep it close to the ultimate cleaner Selenite for a full moon cycle 28 days. Bright blessings!
Obsidian isn't recommended for sickly, old or very young...it's too strong and needs compatibility with the wearer

Hey friend! Great question. The durability of the bracelet will depend on the design and how it is made, but Obsidian itself is pretty strong. It doesn't generally crack open via fissures like selenite, crystals, and agates because of how it was formed. It may be a glass but its a relatively strong glass. Blessings!! 💥

If you are right handed, then the left hand is your receiving hand. If you are left handed, then the right hand is your receiving hand. No, the only stones you want to worry about are those that contain Uranium and Thorium - see the list in this article: pubs.usgs.gov/bul/1009f/report.pdf Note however that manmade Glass - just like Obsidian has been used to contain radioactive waste as an environmental solution. Again, the great Mother teaches us a better way :-).
I've been wearing a round flat piece on my left wrist like a watch and after 4 days my tendons cramped up and I couldn't lift my thumb cause it hurts. I'm switching wrists I guess
I'd wear it for short periods at a time , an hour or two, until you get used to it. You will get used to it but it's no good to try to force it.
I'd also clear it with sage or flame. It may be holding old energies.
Which one is more powerful? Obsidian or tourmaline?
We can't say one is more powerful than the other but we can say which is more powerful for a specific intention. For example Obsidian is more grounding and Tourmaline is more cleansing. Be blessed!!
