its 130% total ad not base ad, basically every off meta sylas build ive seen is either tank or ad, and ad sylas isnt even that terrible because his autoes scale with 230% total ad ratio 100% phys / 130% mgc, so i have seen, in aram to be clear, sylas players go manamune since it gives like 80+ ad and sylas can build mana ap items as well for crazy early game dmg

I'm huge advocate of picking Gwen against Sylas. I swear there are very few champions that can completely shut down Sylas quite like Gwen does. Sylas is about sticking to people and keep fighting but Gwen WANTS the enemy to get close plus has much shorter cooldowns, can dodge Sylas chain if needed, heals more, can easily turn ganks around and sure he may steal her ult but it really isn't that great on him because the reason why Needlework is so strong on Gwen is because of her passive. Plus she can take Ignite + TP pretty much unpunished.

Smart move from him. I'm pretty sure his graves was on void grubs or herald, so fizz probably figured kindred was bot. For all he knew, pekin could have been baiting him towards kindred
Yeah I mean another passive to conpare sylas to is Akali. She needs to LAND and ability, exit a circle, then get back in it and auto something to deal bonus damage and regen energy. And similar to zoe can only have 1 stack of that. Now Zoe is similar to sylas where she can miss and still gets her passive. Lux has to LAND the ability and then her auto gets buffed (I know her ult can pop it too but she still has to LAND the ult after LANDING the 1st ability. But I believe every other champ with a similar mechanic needs to Auto weave to really maximize output. The fact Sylas can miss 3 abilities in a row, then just hit you with 3 buffed, sped up auto attacks is insane. Not factoring in his healing and low CDs and technically having every ult in the game lol
18:00 True on the deaths. I've had so many players tilt when I die peeling for carries and I have to remind them the KDA isn't the only thing that matters. I can die 12 times as long as it cost them every ult which makes us win the teamfight.

Hey Pekin, have you been watching Worlds at all? T1 has been blowing my mind with their huge improvement vs the rest of the year and also pulling out some powerful "off-meta" choices
I mean blame riot for recently nerfing the ap ratio on his E and Q and buffing the one on his passive, went from “land EQ and kill, miss and get poked” to just right click and statcheck
Fizz needs a buff. His current state is sad, D tier 48% wr in most elos and is forced to go ignite into 95% of matchups because he lacks damage in his kit compared to other assassin champs like sylas, kat, akali, zed and so on. Not having tp mid in the current meta is really rough

The "Some champs are just better versions of others" hurts cause it's true. Hardest to deny examples being Yone vs Yasuo and Sona vs Seraphine. Sometimes they do this because it's easier to make something new than to completely rework a champion and they lose their identity in the rework. Since then he's been descent at best and a lot of his fav items reworked over and over again...not to mention all the nerfs to his ratios...to claim the champ has been the same despite all the nerfs he got is just objectively false...but hey...I'm just biased.
Lots of broken Champs in lol. Stylus is definatly in the top 10 though.
Yeah Sylas and Yone are probably the most overtuned champs. I say that as someone who mains anti dash champs (Tali & Vex)
And now Ambessa is a better verison of sylas xD
tbh i think fizz is right m, I play fizz alot and bone plating counters him hardd
Day 21 of asking Pekin to cosplay Gwen
I'm respecting so hard rn
Sylas should not be able to stack his passive aa. Make it skill based, if a player wants to achieve max dmg output they should have to weave abilities and empowered aa efficiently. Having his empowered aa stack is too forgiving.
fizz is right , bone plating is single handedly making fizz one tier lower
he cant proc it without going in for a full trade , its horribly broken vs fizz
that fizz was pretty chill
pekin
Imagine a fizz complaining
fizz players complaining about "op" is funny
Day 44 of asking Pekin to play aram, or until he says to stop
Day167:guinea fowl
Fear the Sylas. Respect the level 3 all-in.
This is what happens when they remove all the animation cancels and attack resets to make the champion be able to be played by everyone. Sylas use to be fun and challenging back in season 9 and now he's just boring and overtuned. Guess he's not stomping pro play so i guess they got what they wanted.
He's a perma pick in pro play lool
@@antonypistachio5476 To be fair not to the degree he was in his first year. He was flex in 3 roles and literally pick or ban. Since he was reworked into this version with basically double the AP ratios of his original iteration he played a lot but I mean there have been way more priority mid picks than sylas, but he has his times in the spotlight. I just miss the old sylas man idc if his win rate was like 44% he was the most fun I've ever had in league.
@@joshuac1876 I meant more so his presence. Even at this worlds he's been one of the top 5 (maybe top 3 I think) most used mids picked by literally everyone. Champ is just insane
Coward
- Sion as he ults
Fizz players can cry me a river
meh game play man
keep up tho
The "Some champs are just better versions of others" hurts cause it's true. Hardest to deny examples being Yone vs Yasuo and Sona vs Seraphine. Seraphine being the most obvious that both do music based that after a few spell casts they get enhanced spells. Then the ult is just a large stun from Sona vs Sera's large area charm. Does similar but better.
Sometimes they do this because it's easier to make something new than to completely rework a champion and they lose their identity in the rework. They try to preserve how a champion plays for people who are diehard mains so it doesn't feel like learning a brand new champion (and instead releasing a newer, more modern and often stronger one).
holy early
haha finally first
