Great coms and composure from optic to not lose the lead when the game got close after throwing that hill match. Was great tournament all around looking forward to seeing these teams battle it out all year!

that was a great series, for me, faze deserve more, but this optic team is amazing too, next HCS will be great for this faze guys, first LAN for them playing together and they lose by 1 kill, amazing job from both.
3/4 have been on the same team for many years. They dropped their weakest link for one of the best superstars to make a super team, and lost. I think this is a bad take. They did good, but they went way out of their way to change the team up and still lost.

It's not linear. 4 guys on the team, 4 ears 4 mouths. This allows them to get map awareness and then team members, namely formal and luciid will call the plays. "back up Joey." "play off Matt" "let's go Cafe." this allows team synergy even if ever call isn't parsed. It's calculated.

Just because YOU don't like their comms doesn't mean it'd be better another way, and even it if we're it wouldn't be YOU giving that advice. Also this is a magnified version of their comms, in the final game of a championship, with all the marbles on the line. They are normally a bit more conservative than this, but even then still a lot of data and talking over each other goes on. The game moves at break neck speeds and can change any moment, these players are good enough to understand what comms to call, and what comms to focus on, and how to orchestrate a plan in the middle of all that. You literally just sound annoying and naive to the nuances of the game.
What a chess match this series was. This is why I love Halo. It’s the perfect blend of chaos, skill, strategy, and teamwork.
