Listened to Bernie's Hanuman Chalisa n got hooked. I am an atheist but there is some divinity in the song.

I have always read and heard that in spite of all the material accomplishments and modern life luxuries, western people suffer deep pain and sorrow; whereas here in East people are naturally happier in spite of their personal life challenges. I have surmised that it is mainly because the spirituality aspect of life rather the lack of it in the first world.
Listening to this video, I could actually understand how it actually affects humanity. Glassman and Krishna Dass are honestly doing God's work by bringing relief and love to the souls in pain and who are longing for genuine love n care; passed or alive.. 🙏
millions and millions of Hindus have been massacred and butchered by the Islamists for 8 centuries, British followed the suit for next 2 centuries, our women and children raped, sold as slaves overseas, men tortured to give up their faith; however the world still does not recognise this dark chamber of history; partly because our history was suppressed by the West and partly due to our own lack of unity and self-esteem as a civilisation in order to become westernised.
The wounds of that monstrosity where our ancestors were tortured to convert and force-fed cow meat those who refused to give up their faith, it still haunts many of us. But it has stayed at personal level.
This conversation brought those feelings back. Spirituality has saved us over and over again from predators and while there is death to everythnig in the world, spiritual knowledge and the civilisation that honours it, is preserved by God from time to time.
