    Thank you for sharing this video with Bobby Jones, his swing so fluid and smooth, and his keen concentration during the swing and after the ball is air borne, seeing it in slow motion really makes a difference.

    the key to his swing and anyone can do it if you can actually be relaxed and tension free... the epidemy of letting the club do all the work.... relaxed and easy...most people force everything from back swing to down swing...

    This was filmed 3 years prior to his grand slam season he retired at the laughable age of 28 after 13 majors. He often went months between majors without even touching a club. His form changed a little from 1927 thru 1930. Feet were closer together in 1930 a putting they were actually touching each other best win percentage in majors for any golfer in any era

      Yes, that is certainly not the putting set up he advocated in his instructional films (with sound.)

      @@Flackack after more research, i believe this was much much earlier than 1927, by 1927 his stance was much closer together with all clubs, in putting his feet actually touched each other and the driver stance was closer together than what's being filmed on the iron shots. His age looks closer to 18.

    Imagine if this guy actually had shafts strong enough for his swing along with Ted Ray and vardon

    • @ag358
      @ag358 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Daniel Castresana yes it's estimated with today's clubs and ball he could easily hit driver 450 yards with his swing
