    I basically live there most weekends, as others have said you probably didn’t pick the best trails or ride the trails in a good order (I ten to pick a hill side and do three trails before moving on to the next hill (of which theres over 40 odd if you know where to look). While peaslake is where everyone heads there is so much more further afield.

    • @MtbTrailHub
      @MtbTrailHub 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That would be the last thing Id want for the hills although I’ve got to disagree with you I’m afraid. There’s nothing in this video that isn’t out there already.
      Surrey hills is getting more and more popular because it’s such a good place to ride. Not because of a video documenting public trails.

    • @jackg5147
      @jackg5147 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MtbTrailHub Just because things are out there doesn’t make them right and further distributing adds to the problem. If you really felt that way you wouldn’t of posted these videos for your personal gain. The Hills are on private land and maintained by locals who don’t get paid. It’s not a trail centre, more and more trails are getting closed down. The Hills are there to be explored, get lost in and talk to people.

    • @stevetaylor2818
      @stevetaylor2818 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Apps like Strava and Trailforks are causing many natural trails to close.
      I've mountain biked for over 30 years and I have never seen so many lovely trails in the SE of England been blocked off and closed as in the last year.
      Some of my favourite trails that I've ridden for decades, never been overused, get published with a 5* rating, droves of mountain bikers start turning up churning up the trails, building jumps and burns, leaving rubbish behind, and terrorising the walkers. The landowner puts up signs "This is private land, Please do not build ramps, cut trees, and please give way to walkers etc" But is ignored and Next thing the landowner cuts down many large trees blocking the whole trail making it un-rideable.
      And I heard so many complaints and worries from walkers about the Surry hills, it's just a question of when many trails get closed not if, and if one OAP gets injured or worse by a high speed mounting biker, then the END the Surrey hills!
