With regards to the marbles in the Pink Floyd Immersion box sets - I heard they were to help discourage counterfeiting which happened alot with the Pink Floyd Discovery box set and other previous box sets.
I have the Sparks album box set “The Island Years”. It has all 4 of their Island Records albums, plus the B-sides compilation “The Rest of Sparks”. It’s a really good box set.
Love the box sets. Never seen that Guns N Roses one before. I just knew you were going to pull out Destroyer. I want it so badly, but I can’t seem to bring myself to justify the $200 price tag. I do vinyl box sets these days more than CD, but I want that specific Destroyer box because of all the cool stuff in it. I just recently acquired a couple of the Black Sabbath box sets. My bank account hasn’t recovered from those just yet. I’m also really jealous of the Quadrophenia box set. One of my favorite bands and albums of all time. Great video, Brendon.

I find myself at this stage of collecting that I’m really interested in the box set of artists for those deep cuts and unreleased material And memorabilia. Doubt if I’ll ever have as many as you but box sets have those extras from your favorite artist that you just don’t get on the cd. Great show and info. ✌🏻

fantastic video Brendon.I have all of these box sets exept Kiss.I bet you get a kick out of the blue prints being an architech.Quadrophenia if I remember right I preordered it and I think there were over a million preorders for that album.I have overkilled that album not only do I have the big box,I also have the LPs,the blu ray audio and the dvd audio and to finish it off I also have it on gold disc lol

The Whitesnake boxsets have been very worth it. Slide It In and the self titled 1987 are my favorites. The latest one Restless Heart is also very good. The Appetite boxset is currently on sale at Amazon down from $200 to $62. Great deal.
News yesterday that the British DJ John Peel Album collection is now open for viewing by select members of the public. Over 120,000 LP's and some with details and notes on them such as a John Lennon album.
Hey Brendon -- In a lot of your videos, you have Cheap Trick's 'Sex America' box set in the background. It'd be great to see that one featured in an upcoming video. And I don't own many box sets, but I do have a Stevie Ray Vaughan set. Version I have was a Best Buy exclusive with an extra CD. Also have the 1st Motley Crue box set. That's one I'm sure is in your collection. Keep up the great work!

I know there a later version released in digi pack but mine is the original in CD jewel case promotional version now very hard to find!!!😉😎👍👍

I have the Pink Floyd Wall Immersion box set. Just got it this past December (2021), thankfully in good condition because it survived the shoddy packaging from the yahoos at Amazon. It is awesome, the ultimate Wall experience. Just hope the concert performances of the Wall are released on dvd soon. That Who box set of Quadrophenia flew under my radar. It looks truly awesome. I’m gonna have to track one down, hopefully I can find a new one but it’s been out for a while so it’s probably out of print.
I have the GNR and the Floyd and I can attest like you did, just how great they are, especially the music content. I have the super deluxe version of The Who’s Tommy. That is also fantastic and carries the same style as Quadrophenia. :) Anyway my friend. I love this series you are doing. Hopefully you’ll showcase all 200 of your boxsets at some point. :)

Yeah I made it through just fine. I’m safe in Manhattan. The outer boroughs had some issue with power outages. But I kept power and enjoyed lots of new music!
Nice box sets. I am a perfectionist also when it comes to keeping my records and CDs in good condition. I was wondering, what kind of portable CD player do you have to listen to CDs on your way to work on the subway? There are several on Amazon and I don't know what to choose.

Good selection. What bothered me with the Floyd set is that for whatever stupid reason, the movie only versions of Mother and What Shall We Do Now? were not included. Also, you failed to mention that One In A Million was not included in the Guns N Roses box.

Does The Cult have a box set? Their cd's from their Sire/Beggars back catalog cost like 20 bucks apiece. Too much for someone who is rather low income and really has to save his money for more important things in life. I already own Sonic Temple (bought it used for no more than 2 bucks at a flea market almost a decade ago.) It's the other Cult discs I'm hoping to find at less than 15 or 20 bucks. To some, 15 or 20 bucks is a reasonable price, and I get that. But being from OH, the Buckeye State, I am thrifty (NOT frugal) like most of my fellow Buckeyes. And I just hate shelling out that much cash for cd's. Say, do you ever go to flea markets to look for cd's? It saves beau coup dollars. You get some album gems for a bargain price if you ever go that route. I have bought several cd's or vinyl records at a bargain price via fleas. Do they even have flea markets in the Big Apple? I'll say this. Going to fleas gives you something different to do on weekends.

I guess the band is doing it via deluxe editions of their individual albums with bonus tracks and all. Too unaffordable for me. How many CD's do you listen to a day on average ? If you live another 50 years, and listen to 6 CD's a day, then you can listen to each of your CD's about 10 times the rest of your lifetime, per my calculation.
It has nothing to do with how many times I can listen to a CD before I die. It has everything to do with having these album at my fingertips whenever I might want them.
I might get the Slide It In Set. I loved the 1987 set, so I may just get it. It is a good album too!

Yeah most of these boxsets go out of print super quick. I try and jump on them right away so I don’t miss out.

The only song from GNR Lies that didn't appear on the Appetite For Destruction box set was One In A Million. I'm guessing it's because of the lyrics.

I understand why it was omitted from the box set but it should be stated that Guns&Roses doesn't have One in a Million in the box set.
