Yeah, I've been sober 9 years. When I got sober people thought it was strange listening to music like this, on this subject. It reminds me of who I am and the reasons why I stopped. The only advice that helped me was to stay busy and find something you love doing because if you get bored or you give your mind time to wander, people like us will find something to fill the void. Keep busy and keep remembering the bad times and the trouble we caused when we drank. The disease wants to remember the good times like you can get them back, but those good times are long gone and they aren't ever coming back. Good Luck and I hope you stick with it. The first 6 months are hard but it progressively gets easier.
