Im actually sitting here, its 5:30 am, and ive seen 2. I cant make myself lay down. This has got to be the worst thing ive ever dealt with. Im planning on moving, soon. I needed this info, thank you. I cant see any light at the end of the tunnel. Its devastating.
You helped me kill Carpenter Bees/Bore Bees using a $16 can of spray after an expensive Exterminator treatment failed to kill a single Bee. I followed your advise and in minutes, live Bees were evacuating the Bee canals and dropping to the ground. The treatment from the exterminator that I hired never touched the Bees. Your 30 years experience was proven and obvious to me in that moment. Thank You Jason.
Good afternoon, Jason. Thanks for this video. I have been contemplating moving. I have been dealing with being bit for 3 years. I have applied crossfire a few times. I will have to save up for a video call after the holidays so you can show me the correct application. I feel that will be helpful. Thank you for all you do. Greatly appreciated.
For the ppl in the comments…it’s also a good idea to use clear plastic storage bins instead of boxes. Bedbugs can make a home out of cardboard but they usually don’t make a home in plastic plus with it being clear yuh can’t see anything on or in it better :) good luck
Honestly most of my life growing up these horrors been causing me insufferable paranoia and annoyance, due to my grandfather inability to wash his clothing after job sites at homes. I'm planning on bagging all my clothing after extreme washings and drying and take those alone with other necessities
I tossed all my furniture in the trash an moved to a new place an got new furniture but I’m worried about my close can someone hit me up I haven’t been able to sleep is there a special way to wash I got new beds but the last apartment gave me nightmares I’m very paranoid an scared my son say we should be cool we tossed everything in the trash even bought a new tv but I’m still scared can somebody hit me up please
Smart. I’m moving in a year for college and have been dealing with these monsters for a year. We can’t afford to treat them since I had a recent major surgery. I refuse to take any furniture with me, if I have to I’ll use student loan money to buy my furniture. Only taking clothes and my items I’m attached to after they’ve all been treated properly. I’m treating EVERYTHING.
Hey Jason! I am moving soon and am going to follow your tips. A question- would a garden sprayer work as a spray receptacle for the Crossfire? I see that you have a professional sprayer on your amazon page, but the $590 price tag is a bit lofty for me at the moment. Thanks for your advice!
What would work best I don’t want take them with us I just used crossfire should I pack with boxes? Should I put plastic on furniture? I also have saw two alive ones was really slow but killed it.
How soon can I move after treating the furniture? I just moved in and the apartment had bed bugs, I want to move out within 3 weeks! Can I spray the tv's or internet routers??? My landlord really does not care about my situation
You can’t treat electronics. After treating sofas, beds and recliners I would pay very close attention to the new apartment you move into just in case you take bed bugs with you, the new location will be treated as well
also in a similar spot. moving after 2 months of trying to treat the space but they are clearly in the walls. how are you now? still dealing with bedbugs?
Any advice for getting them out of a metal bed frame? I have one of those Zinus metal frames, so I can take it apart. But it's got these velcro strips on both sides to hold the slats down, but I've actually found the bed bugs UNDER and INSIDE between the slat and the velcro, I'll steam and spray, but a couple months later I'm getting bit again. I live in a studio, so my area to treat isn't as bad as people with 1-2 bed or houses. My mattress is pretty much free of bugs, it's got a seal on it. So do my pillows. We also have an old service box in the bathroom (takes a skeletal key to open) and neither me or the property manager has keys to it and I've seen bugs crawling out of where the hinges are so I duct taped it. I also have a pretty drafty front door and I know my neighbor has had bed bugs. I've only lived here for a year and everything I had was new :(
Hi Jason. I was thinking of putting things in a storage unit. Not furniture just storage boxes filled with personable things. Pictures and stuff like that. How do bed bugs survive in a storage unit when there's no blood to feed on? I will try to get there this Thursday. I'm off from work and will ask my questions then. Thank you.
Just want too say thank you for the wealth of information, it has been so valuable in helping us fight a infestation before we moved. We did end up tossing some things like a few mattresses and a couple of peices of wood furniture and a couple of other random items but in all fairness some of the items were old and proubley were due too be tossed anyways so it’s ok we will replace some of it and we have less room so not all.
Have you ever bug bombed In a uhaul in the heat ? I haven't ever before and I wanted to know precautious tips and tricks and also if it's safe due to fuel in the truck and how to care for the items after if it needs to be done more than once in the truck and if it'd like 81 degrees outside if it's safe to set it off in the truck without it possibly blow up the can is my fear honestly ( don't know if that's a ignorant thing to say or not )
I have made a video of how to treat a U-Haul for questions just like this. I rented one for the day and I did a treatment showing what to do if your U-Haul has bed bugs. th-cam.com/video/S2BsLA9R8co/w-d-xo.html
Hi I’m moving out of my apartment, my neighbour has an infestation however I have only found one bug at a time in my unit. I’ve steamed my furniture, heat treated my textiles and used Insectagone all around the baseboards and furniture. I haven’t found any bugs since and was wondering if this is a sufficient treatment. I have cats so using chemicals isn’t really feasible for me.
Man, I've seen several of your videos TODAY, and am convinced that you are The Truth. I was skeptical after listening to the very first video of yours I came across, where you disavowed Heat treatment as the treatment of choice, but what you said made a lot of sense. I will definitely use your preferred methods. Thank you so much for making these videos. 👍
I moved into a place invested with bed bugs and roaches and I it’s so bad I ready to just threw away everything I own and I’m so overwhelmed and ready to lose my mind. I have moved out but I’m lived in a nearly empty space because of them
did it work? barely taking anything? i understand exactly how you feel? the neighbors have an infestation , an they got into my apartment, only seen a few but i know how they are, im moving thank god in a week, an i already was planning on getting new beds an sofa, now i’m barely taking anything! i plan on 1 bag of clothes im going to dry here an take to laundry mat an some (a lot) makeup.hair stuff,my sons video games, tvs, printer, that’s it! an coffee maker, like barely anything, i do want to treat my car before i bring this stuff an after, an im thinking of going to a motel first, so im not coming straight from here, this is a nightmare

Was trying to find a portable foldable plastic tray i could take with me to put it on but I can't find anything like that. Also worried about my luggage being near someone elses on the plane that has them and getting onto mine.
@GreenAkersPC its safe if it gets on clothes and other things? What about something to take qith me to spray around the bed and the room and my bag again before leaving?
Oh thank you! My husband is on a trip and coming home in a couple days. He found a bedbug on the mattress in the hotel room he spent the night in. Any suggestions??? I am excited to have him home, but don't want bedbugs to come home with him. I am having some anxiety over this. Any help is appreciated!
Make him remove all of his clothes before he gets into the flat, put them in a plastic bag and run to the laundry room and wash everything in 60s and dry on highest heat!!! Luggage should be boiled into the bathtub, shoes can be froxen
Would putting everything in black trash bags in the hot son on our back concrete work? Leave things in my husband's vehicle to get hot? Can I wipe down any toiletries they bring in with rubbing alcohol? Will that work?? It's my husband and 3 older children.... LOTS of stuff coming home tomorrow evening. I'm feeling ill about it all. Have a pit in my stomach.

The Chapin pump sprayer that is made for bleach from Lowes for $14.99 works well.

Crossfire is actually safe to use around pets as long as its allowed to dry...just follow the directions.
