Hands down! Splash Mountain at Tokyo Disneyland at it’s best version of this ride! Gotta love it! I’m also glad this ride is still going.

Thank God this version survives it uses mks version of the music and is the only surviving memory of the music still around
It’s amazing that this has barely changed since 1992!. The animatronics have barely slowed down over the years. The upkeep is amazing!

One thing I liked about Tokyo’s one is how Brer Fox and Brer Bears defeat is just before boat scene which makes a bit more sense imo. Explains why Brer Fox is telling Brer Bear to stop singing!
I see it being the townsfolk told B'rer Gator to go after B'rer Fox and B'rer Bear.

Kudos to the maintenance team for keeping the animatronics moving after all this time!
The scene setup makes more sense in this version. In Disneyland and WDW the critters sing about Brer Fox and the alligator, but they can't see that going on. In this version, everyone singing can actually see the tug-of-war.
Besides that, this is the most gorgeous splash mountain and the figures are much more animated. Such beautiful backgrounds too.
1. Why do the gator bois sound better in Tokyo?
2. Even tho all the splash mountains got opened at the same time, how is this one lookin like it just opened?
Sorry for responding so late, but here are my answers:
1.) They probably put more effort into the vocals in Japan than over here, cause every voice sounds better in this version.
2.) Cause the oriental land company actually cares about maintaining their rides.

Tokyo's Splash is also located in Critter Country but Tokyo's Critter Country settings and moods take place in Mexico/American Southwest wildlife of Texas/New Mexico, as opposed to original ones in California which is themed to Louisiana Bayou as next to New Orleans Square.
So Tokyo's soundtrack uses more country western feel with banjos whereas California's uses big band jazz style due to the proximity to New Orleans Square.
Also the finale version of Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah rhythm in above video sounds like gospel music and also the music of festival called Hari Raya Puasa or Hari Raya Aidilfitri in Malay or Hari Raya Idul Fitri in Indonesianwhich is Muslim's great holiday of victorious day in a Muslim month of Syawal after undergoing 1month fasting in Ramadan month.

Hello! I don't understand one thing about the splash mountain. Right, there were 3 swamp boys in the America sing, which were included in the splash mountain. but there are 3 splash mountains, i.e. there are 9 swamp boys when there were 3 in America sing. Which one has the original america sings? or do you have that much???? and there are more ducks than in america sing, and even in finale there are more people on the ship than there were in america sing. How is that?
