WETTEST RACE IVE EVER DONE | Tong Enduro Race Edge Off-Road

- We went to Parkwood Off-Road Centre (Tong) this weekend to do an enduro event hosted by Edge Off-Road. With 1 months worth of rain falling in under 24 hours the track was flooded and they had to cut out some of the river sections! I got off to a good start but unfortunately crashed on the first lap dropping me back into 8th. I managed to work my way back through the pack to finish the 2 hour race in 3rd position and completing a total of 11 laps.
Some of the footage is from the Playday the day before because with the weather conditions the gopro got filled in a lot on Sunday.
Massive Puddles, Overflowed Rivers, Deep mud & Lots of Crashes!

That's why British riders are so good when they come to Romania to compete in our forests and mountains. Gnarly, slippery, cold and wet, just proper training in proper conditions and tough lads!

@@ACEsuspension I happen to know a lot of good riders who can ride a bike on relatively dry conditions, but don't know jack anymore when there's wet rocks and vicious tree roots everywhere.

Mate, that was absolutely unreal! I did the practice day on Saturday, which was my first ever time doing anything in enduro related, i think I did a 1hr lap 🤣🤣
Toby Simpson it was a pretty technical lap mate don’t let it put you off that’s as hard as you get.. untill you do an extreme race 🙈🤣✊️

What tyre/mousse combo do you run for events like that?
Michael I run Michelin Mousse and Mitchelin enduro medium tyre around there pal.. if it’s muddier and not as rocky terrain I usually go for a mitas ef07 single green 👍
Ryan Crowder Cheers man, pretty much what I was planning. I’m pretty new to dirt bikes and just do hare & hounds events (I’m a mere Sportsman) but there are so many options/opinions when it comes to tyres etc!

Michael no worries dude sometimes in the winter lads like to use the mitas XT754 single green mud tyre too as they as good value for money and mega in the deep mud 👍
