- Here's a vocal cover of Hallowed Be Thy Name by Iron Maiden.
This is what I do everytime I'm commuting or driving around alone to practice, I just put a random playlist of mostly rock and heavy metal and sing along. I don't know what song will come up next, so it adds to the excitement.

Literally the only thing I would say is be careful using your jaw for vibrato. Bruce does it too, but it can knock you off your note if you aren't careful.
The beard is also a real metal look, please find some people to make a band with, I'd love to hear your own stuff 🖤

Also you'll see how your voice improves. Try singing songs a bit over your capabilities but don't force yourself too much and it'll get better and better, just don't get frustrated if it sounds like ass at first. It worked for me.

No, that was some roadwork they were doing to build a connection pathway between that highway and another one. It was finished a few months after recording this video.

Thanks a lot! To answer your question, I have sung casually since I was a child; but doing it seriously, learning and constantly trying to improve, it'd be a bit over 15 years now, since mid-2000s.🤘😎

May I ask how you got to sing in this high range?
I always get caught on the A4 - A#4, I'd be really grateful for some advice!
To be honest I self-taught most of what I can do, so maybe the advice I'll give you doesn't work as well for you. Also, I don't know how much you know about vocal technique, so maybe I'll be giving you pretty basic advice and it's something you already know, but nevertheless, here it goes.
Basically, I started imitating Zack de la Rocha at first. When Zack does high notes he uses his full-on head voice, similarly to Rob Halford in Painkiller, for example. Bruce's voice comes from lower in your throat, it doesn't fully come from the chest, it's still head voice but not completely up there.
Notice that head voice and falsetto are different.
I couldn't do Bruce's voice right away, and here's probably the best advice I can give you; if you try to sing something higher than A#4 and it doesn't come out cleanly at a normal volume, sing it quieter and don't force it, and try to get it louder over time. Focus on it sounding consistent and clean first, then on sounding louder.

@@_metal_rafa_ I have searched day in day out, hours of video footage, I saw hundreds of videos, podcasts, everything, so I sorta do know what you mean.
I did notice that my head voice could be pretty bright and loud, but it lacks the lower end, the beefiness, and taking the volume down for some reason makes it more coherent. And I did notice that it improves.
Right now my head and chest IS connected, but in a very thin way (not breathy, might I add). It's still loud and has that bright ping, but it's whiney, and I still wouldn't sing like this, but this will improve with time you say?

It will definitely improve with practice. At the end of the day you're working out some muscles and they get stronger as you exercise. Give it some time, practice some songs that you find are just a bit out of your range and you'll see how it gets easier and easier, then keep going up, rinse and repeat.
