Personally family came first since IMO it is the whole point of the others in the first place but different people , different situations , different choices . I have asked that question several times in different threads but NOT ONE person has offered an answer so I will ask again ... WHO SAYS IT MUST BE EITHER/OR ?
Sure it requires more effort on your part but humans have been doing it since the beginning of time . Some folks have even been known to draw strength from one area of life to help in another E.G. Talking to partner about the job is going to be hard with no partner OR elective class choices can offer insight into aspects of relationship not considered otherwise but hard to do if not continuing education.
