I extend my deepest sympathies to you and your family. May the soul of your granddad be at peace. You might be always be skint. But, you have a loving husband and son. No amount of money will buy you that. Well done on losing 3lbs last week. Every pound counts towards to main goals. Take care!
Isn't it fecking ridiculous?! Hopefully the costs won't be that bad when Dot & Bernie are at big school. Primary school is fine, but secondary uniforms are ludicrous. I know a lot of people are campaigning to bring the cost down. Lets hope they do! x
Hi Lisa, you may always be skint (like me) but you are a lovely natured person with solid morales and your bringing Isaac up to be a gentleman rather than a hooligan, which seems to be the norm today. Thank goodness I have never been in a toxic relationship. Hundreds of pounds for a P.E kit is ridiculous (is he playing professional football or something 😮) I know exactly what fibromyalgia is like, my wife has it and is in constant pain, the pain just varies in degree. Congratulations on the weight loss 👌 no wonder Darren wants to throttle Isaac for leaving his kit on the bus 😬 I remember my sons school telling me I need to buy him some football boots with studs and I said no 😂 good job with that shed Darren. Ouch I bet that was painful for your dad and the nail in the foot. You were spot on for not letting your dad drive whilst under the influence. It sounds like your dad needed some Dutch courage to see his father 🤔 I feel out with my father and we never spoke or saw each other for 20 plus years and like your dad, I went to see mine on his death bed and not getting to know him and making up is something I will regret for the rest of my life. I’m so sorry for your loss Lisa. Life is fleeting 😢 take good care of yourself xx
Awww bless you Alan for such a lovely comment. Your poor wife and I know you have your health struggles too. It aint easy for sure. We both have great families though, so we are rich in that regard. I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. I definitely think my dad regrets not making more of an effort. He is intensely unsocial. He doesn't hear well and finds hospitals and residential homes almost intolerable to visit. It really hit him though when he saw how bad his dad was. Get this... Isaac left his PE kit on the bus again this week!!! FFS!! Thanks for the back-up on being right now allowing my dad to drive. It did cause a hoo-haa, but I would have never lived with myself if he'd got in that car. xxx
100% relate to being in a relationship with an arsehole! So many things you excuse and so many things I hated but never said anything. Glad that’s all in the past! We both did good in the end 😊 Well done on the 3lb loss last week 👍 I’m also back on the healthy eating last week and lost 3lb! Although this week at work for someone’s birthday they had pizza and cake so I have now probably put that back on 😐 Other than that though I have been so good, desperate for chocolate but I’ve resisted 😂 😮 I can’t believe how much that sports kit costs! That’s unreal, how do they expect people to keep affording all of this stuff. We’ve needed a new sofa and bed for a few years but we’ve just been making do because they’re so expensive and we can’t afford it. Everytime we seem to have a bit of spare money something happens. Alices school let’s kids just wear supermarket uniform, they have embroidered things but actively tell parents not to spend the money when supermarket uniforms are fine so that’s good for us. Men at work! 😂 Darren looked like he was enjoying smashing a shed up! What an argument to have to have with your dad. There’s no reasoning with people who have been drinking. I want to see Abigail, it just looks a fun film. So sorry about your Grandad. At least he went peacefully and with family with him. I can’t imagine how difficult it would have been for you to break the news to your dad. Sending all the love to you xxxx
Isn't it made when you look back and see what you tolerated? Thank gawd we both got there in the end. We may have our ups and downs in life, but we know we've both got good 'uns. I hear you on the bed and sofa. We've been making do as well. Like you said theres always something else that comes up (usually school or scouts stuff). Bills these days are ridiculous too! Well done on 3lbs off! Thats amazing! I lost the 3lbs the first week and sod all the next as me and Darren went out for our anniversary (thankyou!) and we had chinese one night as I was so exhausted and we were getting back late from my mums. Good for your school. It sounds like they have the right idea. We had to get specific polo shirts and jumpers for primary school, but it worked out at about £25 for the jumper and £15 for the shirt, so it wasn't too bad. Abigail was a fun one. I think you'll like it. Its really tongue in cheek and super gory :) Yea theres no talking to my dad at the best of times never mind when he's been drinking. He's a stubborn so-and-so! Thanks a lot as always for the lovely comment xxx
So sorry about your grandfather. Isaac doesn’t seem like he would be that forgetful, but I like your being understanding about it. But now that you mention it is that why Darren always forgets to put petrol in the car? lol I am also forgetful so I can’t say anything. I get multiple texts and emails everyday asking me to chip in for election campaigns. Oh, look at Darren with that hammer, flexing those muscles. You need to get him on one of those gladiator shows. What’s wrong with oasis? I only know a few songs. You’re such a good person. I hope you got some time to yourself to relax. 🩷
Haha Darren and the petrol, lol. I don't think thats a case of forgetting as much as it is avoiding. He isn't a fan of paying for stuff. I'll tell him he needs to get on GLadiators. I think I need to record his response to that! :D I feel bad now, you saying about Isaac being forgetful and me being understanding. He did it again this week with the PE kit on the bus and I had a right rant about it in the car. I didn't rant at him though, so I suppose it's good I got it all out at your poor lot! Thanks so much for the lovely comment Shann x

Thanks so much buddy. Very true, money can't replace love in your life :)
P.E. Kit.... LUDICROUS
