I actually enjoyed the movie. I am interested in the things that the movie revolves around so it was good in my opinion. Also, the movie has a lot of kabuki in it. The soundtrack is absolutely amazing and it is one of the best things about the movie.
Actually most Jpop artist sing in Japanese, haha. Hikaru Utada for instance. Namie Amuro, Ayumi Hamasaki. Sometimes it's a mixture, but for the most part, they sing in Japanese.
