Ahhh, gelli printing. It is like riding a non-stop train where you just don't know how or when to step off. I think it's why I don't do it often, because I can't just do an hour and be done. Another great gelli print session. I didn’t think I would like the postage stamps stencil but it was my favorite print with that really rainbow looking paper. So cool!

Oh Gayle your Gelli printing came out great. I too love the colorful one with the postage stamp stencil the best, but they were all wonderful. I haven't gotten mine out in a while to play, it is amazing all the prints you can get when playing. It's also amazing that ya never know what it's going to look like until you take it off the plate. Another thing is there is no way possible that you can duplicate one. I have scanned some of mine and hoarded the original if I really really love it. Ha, I loved your painty hands at the end. Ya just can't be neat when Gelli Printing...lol

Today is a beautiful sunny day and the trees are budding and it’s getting warmer out. It’s hard to believe that a week ago it looked and felt like late fall. But I believe that SPRING has finally arrived.

I have even less time on my gelli plate then you do, and I'm still constantly calling out to you to do certain things!🤭 It's definitely next to impossible to do it "right" when you can't dry the layers that need drying if you don't know how to pause or edit. I use an old hair dryer on the cooler setting so you don't heat the gelli plate, but the blowing still dries the paint. I have the hair dryer, the ranger heat tool, and an embossing tool, which still works better for embossing. Even tim still uses his embossing gun for embossing! The line up of tools hanging looks like I'm a hair dresser! And I'm definitely not an artist, so....🤷

Every time I see that you’re going to do one of these, I think to myself - THIS time I’m going to understand it, but nope. I never do. I keep thinking - your sleeves, Gayle, be careful with your sleeves! From here it looks like they’re right smack in the paint! LOL - And then when you say you’re going to clean it off, why not just use a wet one or a rag to clean it off? As you can see, I’m totally confused (and ignorant when it comes to this kind of “procedure”), but the thing is, I don’t even *need* to understand it. All I need to do is sit back and enjoy❤
You’re more right than you know, dear Siri! At the end of a session, I’ll clean the plate with a wet one. But when I say clean off the paint, it’s make another print, because I don’t want to waste any of the paint. I’ll pull up as much as possible. Then leaving the residue makes for a fun layer the next time. Completely cleaning it off doesn’t happen until the end of the session for me. Some people don’t clean them off at the end of the session and leave “crumbs” of paint for the next time they do a Gelli print session. 😊❤

Loved the poopy results. kinda gross start. lol. I think you may have had better contact if you used the flat side if your glue trees. Maybe try again next session. I'd love to see if it would be better before I go for it myself.
What kind of paper besides deli paper do you use for hello printing? They do have untaxed deli paper on amazon

I use plain old copy paper and really you can use any sort of paper. I like using kraft card-stock to gelli plate for covers too. ❤
