I wonder what a symmetrical battle would look like. Brute Jumpers vs Elite Rangers (I would also say each of them vs Bullfrogs but supposedly they don't actually use their jetpacks outside of scripted events), Brute Stalkers vs Elite Spec Ops, Brute Shot vs Concussion Rifle, General vs Chieftain, etc. Both in 1 on 1s and in small squad and large number battles.
i was looking at your mods for ai battles and stuff, and was wondering, is their a way to turn the AI off, then back on? like i want to spawn two apposing armies, but not have them fight immediately?

how do u change the ai difficulty on ai forge maps? the ai are too easy to beat. are u able to change the difficulty to legendary or do u have to manually change all the values in assembly

Physically, brutes are unmatched by any other species in Halo lore other than the mgalekgolo, which are aburdly way stronger than everybody else for obvious reasons. Also, it might not be the case for Halo 3 and Reach but in Halo 2, when the jiralhanae were first introduced, they were exageratedly hard to kill and by far tougher than the sangheili, which perhaps caused a long-lasting perception about them being more powerful. In terms of lore though, the sangheili are militarily more capable, more agile and use combat harnesses that provide them increased strenght and energy shields (similar to a Spartan armor), so they're indeed superior to the standard Covenant troops including the jiralhanae. Reach is pretty lore accurate in this.
@@SnipermanElite I agree, the Brutes in Halo 2 were so tough and so strong that even an elite zealot struggled fighting a brute minor in hand to hand combat. But yeah, I get the feeling that the elites in Halo are better fighters according to lore, sure the Brutes maybe physically stronger and more aggressive than Elites, but the elites are more faster, cunning, agile, smart, strategic and they have energy shield's which give them a lot of protection. An elite zealot can wreck a brute chieftain in a fight because elite zealots strike faster with their energy swords than a brute chieftain can with his gravity hammer, I saw Arbiter fight a brute chieftain in a 1v1 fight and he cut the brute chieftain to pieces with his sword before the brute even got a chance to hit him with his hammer.
I'd say they're roughly evenly matched lore wise with Elites having the slight edge. The Brutes are absolute units with bullet sponge defense while the elites are far more agile and typically more skilled though obviously physically weaker in hand to hand combat.
