A bit of context for the Ch 3 animation. Yellowbrow and Jinchanzi (Tang Sanzang/Tripitaka) debated endlessly about human nature. Yellowbrow believed humans to be inherently bad and inferior while Jinchanzi believed them to be inherently good. And so to really put their debate to the test, Yellowbrow turned himself into that sea creature to put his theory to the test. After the dust settled when they were sitting at that beach, they debated some more with Yellowbrow gloating while Jinchanzi saying that his test was rigged from the start. Yellowbrow deliberately entrapped these villagers to produce the worst outcome. In Jinchanzi's words, humans will obviously act terribly when manipulated in such a way.
It reminds me of this quote, “To look at people in capitalist society and conclude that human nature is egoism, is like looking at people in a factory where pollution is destroying their lungs and saying that it is human nature to cough” We are incredibly responsive to our environment, and if cooperation and generosity paid off more than greed, these questions would never be debated
Explanation of the ending cinematic: Yellowbrow and Jin Chanzi argued over the nature of humanity. Yellowbrow believes humans are selfish and greedy, Jin does not and the two make a bet. Yellowbrow transforms into a giant turtle monster, gets captured by a fishing village, and grants miracles and riches to the inhabitants in exchange for nothing. Humans worship the magical turtle. Greed is stoked (if you look at right before the guy starts moving, his clothes flutter as if pulled toward the turtle monster) and the residents destroy the turtle then themselves in their desires. Jin and Yellowbrow reunite and Yellowbrow claims to have won the bet. Jin argues "you chose a means to an end, not a proof" meaning Yellowbrow only TAUGHT humans to be selfish and greedy, not proved that they are. I have no idea if this is an actual Chinese parable or folktale, but it is very interesting and beautifully animated. Props to the devs.

Best way to use spell binder is to have a max mana build, activate the spell, then switch to a crit build. You get the benefits of both. Also the first armor set (pilgrim’s set) is utterly busted with this spell and the running perks in smash stance
The move when you continously poke using the staff can be held as long as you have stamina and is actually just a skill you upgrade in the long thrust stance.. each stance has a special attack you can do mid combos. The first stance has the overhead slam that can ignore an enemies attack. The attack where you spin on the pole and hit groups of enemies is a special attack for stance where you balance on top of the staff. Read your skill descriptions
The medicines that get rid of and provide resistance against elements actually provide a timed immunity, which is extremely useful for any boss fight that is using one of the four banes. Use the mind cores at the Xu Dog to create celestial medicines that provide very valuable permanent buffs. Spell binder uses mana and stamina to increase damage/critical respectively. You can use the equipment item, summon and transformation before activating spell binder if something is giving you too much issue. Each chapter has a secret area that is worth exploring and completing.

Pro tip: change your spirit to Non-able or something else that passively boost your damage since you can't use it as an attack when you're using spell binder
Pro tip with using Yin Tiger as a transformation: guard till your focus gauge is maxed out, use windwalker and start attacking whilst in windwalker state. Trust me, it does insane damage. 🐯
Even better tip: Build up your focus to a full four bars before transforming and then you can use windwalker as soon as you transform. This is also super helpful against any boss that flinches even slightly, since the windwalker state causes back to back staggering and tons of damage.
Big detail for kaioken is at near max level the more mana you have the more damage you can do. It’s even more godly if you start using the crit and damage boost medicine combined with the tiger spirit with the sword that also buffs crit from the second chapter
Afro if you use the first armor that you get after killing the wolf guy you can keep upgrading it to mythical once you do you can. Use your gourd when running you can stack damage by running you also do way more damage when you begin the fight once you stack with Pilar stance ts is op

One of your best series for sure
19:23 HOLY DAMAGE
Bro I was just about to make a comment about that… holy crap😂
0:43 so you really gon just do that🫥
The medicines that get rid of and provide resistance against elements actually provide a timed immunity, which is extremely useful for any boss fight that is using one of the four banes.
Gotta love the canon Afro series man nothings better than
Basically that spell binding ability is a heavenly restriction, no mana or spells, just hands.
Dude, this series is Awesome!!!!!
Black Myth: Wukong never stops to amaze me.
Hey @AfroSenju, nice video as always.
About the bosses, you don't have to beat every boss in the game but if you do, there's a true ending for the game
Little disappointed that Afro didn’t use his clones against Yellowbrow. Was looking forward to his reaction
Keep blessing us with more wukong and my life is yours Afro
I just watched all your Wukong vids but seen you hasn’t got as far as yellow brow and was sad because I’m currently stuck on him and makes me want to peel all my skin off but you just uploaded this! Looking forward to it
This Yellowbrow boss fight was pure cinema.
Pro tip: change your spirit to Non-able or something else that passively boost your damage since you can't use it as an attack when you're using spell binder
congrats on 2 mil brother. well deserved.
14:20 Was that a Tornado warning? LMFAO
"Seven rings in hand" was definitely not expecting _that_ reference!
Been waiting for this upload all day! Thank you Afro! ❤
“How it feels to chew 5 Gum” 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love you Afro ur vids really helped a brotha out a lot
Yeahh keep uploading black myth BOY
The series has been going crazy so far can't wait till you get further in the game
Knowing Afro, chapter four is gonna KILL him. Can’t wait for the freak out lmao
9:03 lol not the gummy bear ref
22:17 you're an absolute genius lmfao
Love the art for these videos man keep it up!
The amount of times he makes me scream HEAL!
Dude does fight wild. Especially when he could've been killed yellow brow 😂
I'm glad you're having fun
Big detail for kaioken is at near max level the more mana you have the more damage you can do. It’s even more godly if you start using the crit and damage boost medicine combined with the tiger spirit with the sword that also buffs crit from the second chapter
The yellow brow dude be yapping like zamasu fr fr
Afro good luck on the next chapter, it’s not crazy hard (final boss is imo) but the enemies are gonna have your skin crawling
0:00 nah bro was tweaking
Afro always says *"I'm gonna do blind playthrough"* and proceeds to let his friend make his build
How it feels to chew 5 him threw me LMAO
Nahhhhhh that kaioken is CRACKED
You honestly had me had 00:34 with the no like goals
FRR
14:53 That's one of the theme's from Sonic and the seven world rings. Didn't know you'd either played that or seen that Afro.
Bruh the sonic and the secret rings reference was CRAZY
Ch 3 was honestly annoying me but Afro making me want to continue and explore
Afro the goat he needs more recognition
9:06 bro did the ichogo scream lmao
Loving the wukong series bro
Loving this journey
6:50 just sayin, they have little pots that remove certain banes and give you a reduction to said bane(frost especially)
Wow the 5 gum joke out of nowhere 😂😂😂havent herd that in years
Afro if you use the first armor that you get after killing the wolf guy you can keep upgrading it to mythical once you do you can. Use your gourd when running you can stack damage by running you also do way more damage when you begin the fight once you stack with Pilar stance ts is op
14:52 W Sonic and the Secret Rings callback.
fun fact the little fox you helped was the spirit of the fox from ch 2 animation and the monk was the guy who killed her
That Non-Void kill was clean asf
Yellowbrow to me is malicious and the polar opposite of what you’d expect a Buddha.
Man is arrogant, selfish, power hungry and just seems to want people to become their worst selves.
Even in the cinematic he goes to a village of poor and dying people while basically drowning them in riches, potions and food while actively hoping that they do bad things with it
And now for my favorite part of the day, turning on some AfroTV
@AfroSenjuXL.... That old man and the fox at 9:45, we saw that story. I think it was at the end of chapter 2 when we saw that claymation movie about the hunter who found a fox, took it home to heal it, it became a woman, he married it, it ate his children, then he woke up and it was (my best biggie smalls voice) "ALL A DREAM" but he killed, skinned the fox anyway and the story ends with him walking into the sunset with a fox scarf????? Yeah, that's these two. Wanna feel worse???? READ THE FOX'S JOURNAL ENTERY!!!!!!!!
some summonings give you extra stats when equipped, for examply the one-eye daoist gives you more stamina
Cant wait for Afro to fight Erlang and the disrespectful final boss
We out here, keep it up Afro
Leveling up the perfect dodge to expose is OP
