Welcome to Pai Cooking.
Konkani food uses more of coconut in its masala recipes. Adding certain spices ,adds to the flavor of the recipe. One such recipe is Tendle Bhuthi..adding this ground masala to this vegetable gives a different taste. The same masala can be used for onions/ mushrooms/cabbage too.
Do try this recipe. You can add water to reduce the thickness of the masala and then add to the boiled ivygourd. We have done the dry version here.
