I agree with the point that under most normal circumstances Hank would be carrying a second weapon besides his service firearm. But in this particular instance, Hank did go to the office firmly believing that Jesse was still pressing charges and that his career was effectively over. So I do get why he might choose to leave his backup gun at home this one time.
The scene with Jesse filling time by messing around in the lab and filling his suit with air is what I imagine is going on in Maples brain during some reactions, with the random things she focuses in on sometimes lol
that discussion between gale and walter is honestly hilarious. It had the exact same energy as when you see really studious self serious girls being ashamed that they are attracted to the shlubbiest street dudes imaginable
Maple has a point I also brought up when this aired: Hank has to be the sole, only fed or police officer I know or know of, that only has his duty weapon. Every officer or agent I know carries at least one personal owned backup, wether they're allowed to or not. Because it's their life, better judged by 12 than carried by 6 and all that.
i know of a cop that after 9/11 he actually bought an anti tank rifle and put it in the trunk of his vehicle just to be prepared for anything rockets being too hard to obtain
Cops don't carry personal firearms into a disciplinary hearing where they know they are going to lose their badge and service weapon. Every federal building has metal detectors too and even agents have to hand in personal firearms. Also when cops do carry a backup gun it's usually concealed on their duty vest, hank wasn't wearing a vest. If hank did have another firearm it was probably a long gun in his trunk locked in a secure container along with ammunition.
My mother was in a private hospital for a surgery she needed for a very specific procedure and the food was fucking awesome. they had actual chefs doing fancy shit and normal shit. i got a burger that probably weighed an entire like pound or pound and a half. the shit only cost $10 too with fries. its definitely not the norm but that hospital food was so fucking good and was cheaper than any fast food i could have driven to. this happened like 10 years ago and i still remember how good that burger was.
I feel like you really misinterpreted Skylar's reaction, the look she gives Walt, when he's on the phone at the hospital. It's not that she "doesn't care" who he's talking to. Not at all. This is about the tower of lies Walt has built up throughout the show, leading to Skylar now not being able to fully trust one thing he says. Also, I think she realizes or at least assumes he's dealing with drug business stuff (correctly!) on that call.
See I’d say the turning the point was … Spoiler… When Jessie forced Walt to kill Gus’s gangbangers. That soured the relationship with Gus permanently. Up until that point Jessie could’ve walked but after that point everything was a shit storm. Jessie’s decision to not let it go when he could’ve walked away ended up leading to everything going south.
@@jerodastThat's because he was still processing everything that happened and how he was involved in it all. This speech in the hospital is coming from him having been through a similar thing to Hank and genuinely trying to comfort Marie.
