@@AQUAHOLIC : Hi Nick. Just to clarify those MAN 1550 V12s are 1550hp each, correct? I probably misheard you but it sounded like you said "MAN 1550 550hp" 14:24.
Oneslackr he definitely meant 1550hp engines as 550hp engines on a boat of this size wouldn’t be suitable, and definitely wouldn’t allow it to cruise at 25 knots!
@@olivergriffiths4445 : I looked it up yesterday just to confirm & Sunseeker currently offers 2 options, 1550hp or 1900hp on the Predator 74. With the 1900hp engines it tops out at 40 knots.
40 knots! Like a supermodel who's a trained chef but also an Olympic sprinter. Any half-decent naval architect can make a full-displacement gin palace that tops out at 15 knots, or a crashy, splashy speedboat that's enormous fun but shortens your spine when you get it up on the plane. To have that much luxury, convenience and utility combined with seakeeping and sheer pace is hugely impressive. Thanks for the in-depth tour Nick, this beauty has gone straight to the top of my lottery win wishlist.
As an introvert, this is my favorite boat you've done so far. Massive amounts of room; they didn't try and cram 5 cabins and a mattress space in the broom closet on this boat. Enough room for you and a couple of family members or close friends to escape the terrestrial rat-race in favor of a more "maritime" pace of life.
I love these so much! This is THE dream boat. Every time I see one of these I fall in love them all over again. Outside of a handful of Azimuts and Palmer Johnsons there is nothing in the water better looking than the Predator series.
I agree. I normally prefer more of a trawler style, but they did this one right. That garage looks big enough to stash a couple of tuna fighting chairs in there. :)
I must admit to being a fan of Sunseeker since the early 90's. I was lucky enough to spend a day with a client on their 1995 Manhattan 58. Love the video and Thank you again for you continued hard work in bringing these wonderful boats to the masses.
Quite a new thing I've noticed about myself in the past few months, every time I pass a mirror in my house I wave to myself. Thank you for the great content! Always such a treat to watch your videos. My family and I never miss an episode!
Hey Nick, lovely tour. Really grateful that you're here to make these videos. I'd love to see a Lynx Yacht tour, their layout is interesting and an "Aquaholic style" video would be a blessing. Cheers!
People actually do buy a boat because of you, Nick! No one breathing in their neck and still the impression they need to make a decision. And that's how it works! Well done, as always! And thank you!👍
Sir you are not just reviewing but you are describing the different possible scenarios that can happen 'having party, having a little chat while preparing the breakfast' . You are the best amazing yachts videos maker. I wish you all the best ❤️ the road to millions of subscribers because u deserve it.
Nick yet another great boat tour. These are by far best tours by far. The video with commentary really make the tours so much more interesting. Great work can wait for the next ones.
16:36 Glad you didn't wake up the two crew members in those sleeping bags :P Lol. Jokes apart, that's a great boat~! Though I personally love the ones with a fly bridge, this one is really nice :) Lovely to see you working on the magic tricks with the shoes and bits of classic humour. :) Thank you for the tour Nick~! :) I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for educating us with sailing terminology. A schoolmate of mine is a merchant navy captain and we recently met over lunch to catch up. He too owns a small boat and while talking, he was so amazed how much I knew about boats and sailing, he just couldn't believe I actually haven't yet sailed on a boat~! :P All credit goes to you :)
Well Nick, you've changed my mind. I used to like a galley-aft (or midships), but the intimate feel of a galley-down is brilliant. A bit of extra privacy in a crowded marina, without closing all the saloon blinds.
Gorgeous boat. I usually prefer flybridge layouts as I like the idea of maximum floor space for your money, but this one just looks beautifully open and seamless - and with the front cockpit, you're not missing out on too much living space and getting a whole lot more air and light through the boat. Great tour as always!
Official Sunseeker video "Master stateroom with 40 inch TV, all AV equipment, Apple TV etc." Nick "Big Telly in here" That's what I love about your videos Nick, exactly how I'd be if I were ever lucky enough to get on one of these lovely yachts.
I absolutely love your videos and channel, I'm addicted. I particularly love Sunseeker and the predator range right from the beginning when they started. I think this whole boat is just absolute class! One of my favourites and I love the aft cockpit. So many of the larger multi-million pound expensive yachts seem to lack the wow factor in the aft cockpit when you first step aboard a yacht. Love it!!! CJ
Beautiful sport cruiser... I like the sleek lines, I also like that they are finding constructive uses for the carbon fiber. That helm area was incredible with the roof open or closed with all the light. Great tour as always and look the little additions with salutes and magic shoes!
Great tour. I’m still trying to get over the fact that the Master Cabin has a walk-in wardrobe with a closet inside of it. You know you have made it when you have a closet with a closet. Bravo!
AQUAHOLIC i have a question. Can you film an norwegin boat. Somthing like «viknes 1080» or an «askeladden p92 suv» the askeladden p92 is an luxurius fishing boat in Norway😊
Appreciating the sunseekers more and more. I do not mind you coming back to the same type of boat, it helps us get a feel of the difference in configuration options and maybe even a style ugrade for a different build year. I like the crew cabin in this, I could imagine getting a crew in there so the owner can indulge in the bubbly for a weekend.
A wonderful English built boat ,presented by Nick who loves boats such passion and the salute ,must have been promoted to Commander by Maggie .NICE ONE SUNSEEKER
I really like the modern design and the layout, f.e. with the galley at the lower deck, on this one. Especially the huge windows everywhere leave this yacht feel very open and let you almost forget, that there´s no flybridge. Thanks for the tour...
Thanks Nick for another great tour. Change to salute in the mirror didn't go unnoticed! Also getting really excited for 200k subscribers... soo close!!
I'd think because of the costs, everything is researched and designed to be perfect, unless something was owner customised, then you wouldn't want to say that the owner had bad taste. :-D
In a way reviewing these yachts isn't too much different than comparing 25 ft open bow boats. Once you get 2 or 3 manufactures that are on the same level it really just comes down to where the manufacture decided to spend the money and where does the potential buyer "like" where they spent the money. Of course there's always a manufacture that stand out or 2 or 3 that stand out, but always comes down to what the buyer is looking for. I'm guessing that Nick's objective is for US to watch the video's and for US to figure out what we think is good or bad or what we like better on one boat over another and find those little differences. I do get what you're saying.... I actually had the same thought, but I don't think he wants to step on any "toes".
In due time - when Nick has 5 mill. subs - there may be some leverage for constructive criticism, but there's a saying that goes something like: don't sh!t where you eat - and you really don't want to p!ss off the people who are gonna facilitate your next review ;-)
Negative and positive opinions are are great for everyone. The key board warriors like to bully and shut people down so don’t be scared to say the pro’s n cons
I know that I am walking on thin ice here but I just love me a Predator Yacht. For me a real dream vessel and I still prefer above a Princess. Love the one-deck-no-fly layout of the sports yachts. Great vid as always, Nick. Prefer the salute over the wave.
Hey Nick what a beautiful sports cruiser Sunseeker have done a fantastic job with this boat, I too love the dark wood and the stainless steel strip really shows a class design also i like your new salute to the mirror, very chic

That is very well laid out.I like that the 'crew cabin'is set well to use as a changing, and shower room after a good swim. You aren't dripping through the ship.Plus it's a good 'teen/overflow'room.I'd love it if only it had a roof patio. Not a fly-bridge,but another suite of sofas/lounges for just...whatever.
