I think the original idea of a sequel was to Maximus being an eternal god and live for centuries fighting wars through the Dark Ages through the World Wars or something like that. It was crazy. Their are discussions about it online.
When i saw/ heard the trailer there was an expectation because it was a sequel of an iconic movie Gladiator, but the moment i heard the music i was shattered. Cinematography and CGI looks good if it has good story and great music it will become better. Your version is the best as compared to the trailer🔥🔥
Some movies do not need and should not have a remake or whatever and Gladiator is one of those movies! But like always you did good on the music Mathias.

Seriously though, why would they do a Gladiator 2 trailer and not use any of the iconic music from the first movie.
Because the music wont have that music either probably. Different composer
