You can't go wrong with them! I'd go Meso series. Doesn't need a hug box but sounds incredible and plays really low. Can get loud if you want it to

@@Kpaceguy yes the Mesos look really impressive, just not sure if I would have to replace my alternator for those LOL I drive a small Nissan Sentra. I had two Alpine Type r's so now looking to get something comparable or maybe a little bit louder. Thank you again for the review

One of my DV84's came with one of the active driver's dustcap's smashed. So I got a replacement driver send under warranty, which turned out to be a random wrong driver (a 4 Ohm subwoofer driver) in the same size. They let me keep it and sent out the correct one. The driver had a plastic protector over the whole front of the driver. So... WHY DON'T YOU GUYS JUST PUT THOSE ON THE FULL SPEAKER WHEN U PACK THEM??? But yeah, maybe I'll use that little 8" subwoofer driver in a car audio application someday. Your box looks so nice. You should use it for Home Theater Applications.

I lOVE IT JUST CANT WAIT FOR THE 18" BECAUSE NO OTHER COMPANY HAD A AFORDABLE 1000 + RMS WATT SUBWOOFER ANYMORE I MISS THE 18" AMERICAN BASS XFL BUT THE ONLY OTHER OPTION IS THE SKAR SDR WICH CANT HALDLE OVER 800RMS.

I run my Ct sounds 10s over their max power rating and they only get hot when I play them for a long time. Ct definitely is conservative on their power rating

That looks a lot like an hcca frame but not as deep…bet that sub performs well above entry level…bass nut 6142
