I'm so glad you mentioned how Smite 2 felt unfriendly to Smite 1 players because it honestly felt that way to me too from the start of the alpha. Everything just felt kind of off or wrong in a way when it comes to game play. Thankfully they listened and improved some things. I'm still not sure how I feel about active items but I guess I just need to adjust a bit.

I played a game of mordred where I ulted in a minion wave and for whatever reason, took 91 instances of archers hitting me and I died instantly. That was funny
Chaac with Conduit Gem feels so cursed but also awesome. Makes me wonder what other gods might be sick with certain items they couldn't build before, I feel like quite a few guardians could be nice with bluestone.
@@brewstinhas something to do with ue5. There’s nothing in the engine for this so they have to build it completely from ground up and then try to implement it into everything without breaking it. It’s why u never see custom text to chat in ue5 games
The quality difference between Smite 2 and Deadlock is SO VAST. It’s astounding. AND WE’VE PAID HI REZ TO PLAY THEIR INFANTILE GAME. We’re paying them to develop their game. Lol. It’s so absolutely backwards. I doubt Smite 2 will be worth my time for another 6-12 months. Maybe never. Maybe never. Every time I log on to try a game I log out feeling angry at the state of it. It’s ridiculous, to be frank. I needed a good vent, so thank you for witnessing my little rant here. 😩🤘🏼

I know you mentioned chaac being the best hybrid in the game but Ares also has abilities that scale with both strength and intelligence pretty well. Just Saiyan 🥳
@@helios4627 Modred has a bad bug with his ult in that- If you ULT in certain circumstances, your ult WILL not count. On your screen you're making the motions, comboing as if going up but you're still grounded. On the enemy screen. You are on the ground. Nothing happened. You are not going through minions too. HOWEVER! You are TECHNICALLY still ulting. But you need to literally HEADBUTT the enemy model to make the ult count now because of how this bug goes.
There is a TON of bugs with mordred big ult, ive reported several just today where you move slow or dont move at all, when hitting any god who does an ability they wont be knocked up and you still do the entire animation, anubis walking away and u hit his back causes you to again do the animation but not knockup or do damage. fen leap, bell shield bash, sol at the very start of her 3 and all through it cause mordred ult to bug out, anyone else seeing this please report it.
If they don't fix all the jank engrained into this Alpha soon, Smite 2 is going to die the moment Deadlock is available to everyone. Hi-Rez loves justifying the state of the game with the excuse of it being in a testing stage. Deadlock has now proven that a game in the very early stages of development can still be polished enough to not feel like utter crap.

can someone please explain to me why building int items on a strength god (or strength on int gods) is the play? like i see sol players build full strength/attack speed, which sure attack speed on sol, but doesnt that just mean she auto's really fast but they do no dmg?
Because in Smite 2, there are no longer gods who only scale of strength or intelligence, there are also hybrid gods who scale of both. Chaac is phyiscal god but he is a hybrid god. So if you want his 3 to heal more, you need to buy intelligence because his 3 scales of intelligence, not strength. If you want your 1 to hit more, you build strength because it has more strength scaling(although it also has some intelligence scaling but less). Ult scales of both almost identical, so it doesnt matter that much for ult. You can see damage scaling in this video at 17:45 he explains it. There is also another thing to consider - basic attacks have 100% strength scaling and 20% intelligence scaling for every god, so if you want basic attacks to deal more damage, you build strength regardless if you deal magical or physical damage. Thats why they build strength on sol.

Anyone else think that Chaac's auto attack animations look really bad? They look weightless and really unusual, as does his 1 now I say it. Not even close to as good as smite 1
Been really struggling to enjoy any of my games. At this point I’m just going to wait a few weeks and enjoy the cod beta with some ncaa. Smite 2 feels like more of a chore than anything

Everyone saying this game is so fun and it’s not warriors and guardians are doing wayyyyyy to much damage it’s almost unfair for the other gods…they got full defense and legit shredding hundreds of hp. People gon disagree because they think it should be that way but no it shouldn’t be baccus with full def jumped on me as hecate and used ult n boom that’s more than half my health This the only issue I have really ,fighting regular god that’s not warriors and guardians feel fair equal damage
Yes it’s an alpha but holy hell it feels more like a cash grab than it does a smite game I can’t be the only one seeing the balance in game Only usable gods if you aren’t playing warrior or guardian is sol, Anhur ,mord, and fen everyone else feels useless unless you’re wayyyyy ahead and the opponent sucks

This is literally 7-8 nerds in a lobby who live on mobas vs 3-2 on either team who haven't. It isn't enjoyable. You will hear crying the entire game and you won't enjoy your experience. Play ANY OTHER VIDEO GAME if you like a fun experience just not this. A video game is not a full time job. Their is zero fun battling nerds who are obsessed with this sh** as a more casual player
