- In this video we tell you how to get to Tagua Tagua Park in southern Chile.
The park is located in the Los Lagos region, approximately 120 kilometers southeast of Puerto Montt and 100 kilometers east of Puerto Varas, this spectacular park offers a unique experience in the middle of the exuberant Chilean nature. To get there, you have two options: from Puerto Montt or Puerto Varas, take Route 225 and then Route V-69 from Ensenada, or you can opt for Route 7, which marks the beginning of the famous Carretera Austral, and cross by ferry the Reloncaví estuary. Once in Puelo, continue along Route V-721 until you reach Lake Tagua Tagua.
Within the park, well-marked trails await you through native forests, impressive waterfalls, and panoramic viewpoints offering spectacular views of the snow-capped peaks of the Andes. In addition, you can enjoy activities such as trekking, kayaking, fishing and camping in direct contact with nature. If you decide to stay longer, the park offers lodging options including camping or staying in one of their lodges. One of the best known is the Alerce Shelter, which is named after the most emblematic native tree in the area. This refuge has comfortable facilities, a shared kitchen and common areas where visitors can relax and enjoy the tranquility of the natural environment, with the Alerce lagoon being the finishing touch to this park.

There are buses that leave to Tagua Tagua Lake from Puerto Montt and Puerto Varas, but if you go by vehicle, we recommend parking in Punta Canelo and crossing and crossing by ferry on foot, so as not to waste time.

Noté que estaba soleado, el climano no sentía frío, le pregunto, su viaje al Parque fue en esta fecha, es decir, en abril.

Holaaaaa, el viaje fue a fines de Febrero, pero hasta marzo puedes asegurar días así, ya después las probabilidades de lluvias aumentan y se termina el calor. Claro que durante la noche baja la temperatura

Que hermoso lugar, ¿cual es la mejor temporada para ir?
Realmente es hermoso y vale la pena mucho ir. Nosotros fuimos en febrero y fue perfecto, pero el Parque está abierto todo el año (a menos que el invierno sea muy muy crudo) pero creo que depende lo que busques. Si quieres ir a disfrutar de buen clima y bañarte en la laguna, anda entre noviembre a marzo, pero si quieres conocer esos bosques lluviosos y más salvaje, los meses de otoño a primavera pueden ser buenos para eso

De todas maneras Mauri. Este trekking en particular es relativamente sencillo y el sendero está muy muy bien demarcado. Solo se hace un poco más cansador el llevar mucho peso en la espalda si es que te quedas a dormir en el refugio de la laguna alerces, pero nada del otro mundo

Cuanto cuesta una noche en el refugio?
Al menos este verano, la estadía por una noche nos costo $50.000 por persona (el precio incluía la entrada al parque y el traslado en lancha desde puerto Maldonado al parque ida y vuelta). para saber los precios actualizados ( si es que han cambiado) te sugiero consultar directamente al correo info@parquetaguatagua.cl
