I find that they discover the things that they love to do on their own. Pearl even at 3 years old would make little paper clothes for her dolls! It was so cute. I do try to limit screentime because it’s such an easy thing to spend hours on. We definitely have screen time but we try to be thoughtful about it. That alone really helps the kids find hobbies because they are looking for something to do with their free time.

I don’t know why but I’ve been getting into sociology, philosophy, and psychology lately. It’s really interesting because I didn’t realize that my thoughts that I tend to focus on are part of science. Well depends on if you think social science is a science. It does use scientific ways of proving itself, but it’s definitely not like other sciences such as biology which is the study of living organisms. It’s very intriguing and I’d recommend these studies/sciences to pretty much everyone looking for more of an understanding of how society and people work. Philosophy also tends to showcase how simple questions really aren’t all that simple. While it’s not the entirety of the study it is a main part of it. For example how to determine whether something is good or bad or if this construct even exists. Think about it we automatically think without a doubt that let’s say something such as telling the truth is good but how can we be positive? It’s easy to answer these questions but it’s not so easy to prove them. Most of these studies have even evolved from each other. Sociology wouldn’t have existed if it weren’t for philosophy. I could go on and on. Although I would greatly recommend you take a look because it is quite fascinating.
I write too much. People have problems with not writing enough, but let’s just say I’m very passionate about it. I think it’s clear that people will talk a lot about what they are interested in or care about.
They literally have to have the most rudimentary music playing device because heaven forbid they get exposed to anything at all that goes beyond a Yoto player card.
This reminds me of an episode of Law&Order: SVU where this girl pretended to be a missing family memebr and she had so many facts about the girl because the girl before going missing would post all about her life and what not.
Please don't start being another Alisha I say that because she does this same roll call. When it comes to letting everyone know precisely what each kid likes. Some things is not for socail media.
