LYRICS
Nina Imani, siku za mateso zitapita
(I have faith that these days of suffering will come to an end)
Nina Imani, siku ya kutoka ghetto itafika
(I have faith, one day I will get out of the ghetto)
Nitapata mabawa nitapaa
(I will grow wings and I'll fly)
Nyota itaangaza nitang’aa
(My star will shine)
Ninayo tamani moyoni nitapata
(I have a longing in my heart to get that)
Sitasahau
(I won’t forget)
Sitasahau, walionishikilia
(I won’t forget those who held me)
Sitasahau, walioniombea
(I won’t forget those who prayed for me)
Sitasahau, ni Mungu amenitendea
(I won’t forget, it's God who did it for me)
Sitasahau Sahau × 2
(I won’t forget)
Nitashare share
(I will share)
Hio kidogo sitajiwekea
(The little I have I won’t keep for myself)
Sitalegea gea kushika mtu mkono
(I won’t hesitate to hold someone's hand)
Na nikiitwa somewhere kusaidia
(And when I'm called somewhere to help)
Hata kama sina fare
(Even if I don’t have bus fare)
Nitatembea ×2
(I will walk)
Sitasahau, walionishikilia
(I won’t forget those who held me)
Sitasahau, walioniombea
(I won’t forget those who prayed for me)
Sitasahau, ni Mungu amenitendea
(I won’t forget, it's God who did it for me)
Sitasahau sahau ×2
(I won’t forget)
