I’m in my first semester of Mechatronics here at the local tech school in upstate South Carolina. I’m taking night classes due to busy work schedule through the day. So far I am enjoying. Just the math is pretty tough.
Reach out directly to facility (web address prolly available online) to see if that level of degree is offered there. This looks like a two-year college, so I’m doubtful a masters degree is offered there, more likely a certificate or possibly associate degree available there. Best of luck & review your resources!

To be frank these could be students who would want to but cannot afford an engineering degree or who just don't want that path of education and taken this one. That said the level of skills they get are far more advanced than a newly graduated electrical engineer for the technical part. We all have roles to play in the technical community technicians and skilled personnel play an important part in a lot of support systems we have as well as in manufacturing. Engineers have their own set of things they cover so please do not look down on them also it may be that these students will eventually make more money than the electrical engineering students directly after they finish. By the way I am an engineer did my bachelors and masters degree but I understand the importance of the technicians and skilled labour in the scheme of things I also came from the trades and skills area before I earned my degree and license to practice this is why I am setting it straight here as part of the obligations of an engineer to teach, manage and care for people under his / her charge. Again we all have jobs and tasks we are responsible for.

Why? They are technicians not engineers
