Got the kit earlier this week and got time today to solder them together.. Tested real quick before I had to leave and everything works.. I wonder if there are any ways to edit the code to add other things manually like put "TH-cam" then it fades to the TH-cam Channel Name.. thanks again for the kit.. I found it quicker to buy the kit than to order from Amazon separately since some of the items were not in stock. Now about that LARGE scrolling one.. Normally to get more detailed stats on the TH-cam counter, you need to select the “scroll“ option on the DoLibo website. But TH-cam limits the sub counter to 10’s on channels over 9,999 and 100’s on channels over 99,999 subscribers. This is a limitation of the TH-cam API. We don’t have any control over this. With that being said, we have been looking into other ways to scrape the info. Unfortunately we haven’t been able to find a way to gather this level of detail yet.

HOLY SHI1T IS THIS A PHVCKING NIGHTMARE for a blind person. I got my Hayear 5mp inspection microscope fired up, pointing at soldering mat, with my TS100, flux, silver tip tinner, tip cleaner, sponge, SOS pad, and Kester solder. How the heck am I suppose to bridge these two modules together with the little bridge connector? How are you suppose to solder... under the plastic of the little included bridge connector? Using packing tape I taped the sides of the panels together to hold them in place. Whoever is the manufacturer could of designed them together so they just snap together and plug into each other. Looking at it closer, I think I'm just suppose to blob solder across the two pads using the bpard tiny lead to bridge the pads together, which makes sense. NOpe, I was on the wrong place on the circuit board. I didn't bridge a single thing. I probably screwed up something, who knows. Common guys... :-/ I think I'm suppose to bend a 90 degree angle in the tip of these pins with pliers needle nose pliers and come up through the through holes from underneath.
Ok, I finished all of that nightmare, and mine is making all sorts of random strobscoping red dots Close Encounters flashing all around the displays... so I know I got 5v and ground wired up right... who knows if I bridged any of the other three lines. I can't tell with my inspection microscope. I checked my lines and they are connected to the right pin outs.
I just got it to work. I had a short between 3v3 and D8 / CS !@#$%^^^ who would put a 3 volt pad right next to a control line... grrrr no wonder it was doing a Close Encounters light show. NOT BLIND FRIENDLY PROJECT even if you have all the tools. Only 10 soldering connections to make, but what a PITA because the industry makes things so small. And I do not have big hands. And I'm doing this under aninspection microscope.
Looks Like it has stopped working. Only the Date and Time are displayed and for the Channel it is displayed as NULL and when i try to update the details on code.dolibo the channel is not getting recognised.

i would like to build one that can add all of my social accounts together? how can we do this? Who can we talk to?
When can we buy this again
sweet channel! can't wait to see more
More to come!
Me again, would it be possible to make the 3d files available for the full enclose not just the split model? I would like to make some small modifications to it in fusion 360, thanks.
Verry Nice, i wondering if it is possible to have a counter for the numbers of downloads from my personal printables or makerbase web page. Thanks for your answer.
Do you know if either of them of publicly accessible APIs?
@@HackMakeMod @HackMakeMod Thanks for your answer. How van i know if there is a publicity accessible API on makerbase webpage
Great job! Looking forward to trying it myself! I subbed too!
Is there a way to do it so it tracks shopify sales?
Interesting… I’ll look into it
I get the data in the terminal but my matrix is always bright red on all the leds, not a single change..
What microcontroller are you using? And what PIN number for the data?
@@HackMakeMod wemos d1 mini, DIN - D7, CS - D8, CLK - D5. I receive the api data in the terminal but the led screen is always full on. I tried some examples of the library of the led screen using arduino uno and all of the examples are working using 10, 11, 13 on the uno
Are you using our walkthrough?…

You can contact me through the website and I can help you figure it out.
@@HackMakeMod yes, I used all the steps, I have used the website also to generate the code, I have replaced the details, I got the info in the terminal but the led panel is always full bright. Also I am using only 1 module (4 panels, not 8 as in your example). Any ideas how to fix it?
Does not work, compile error at this line sprintf(viewTrunc, "%4.0f%s", viewDec, viewEnd);
ERROR
exit status 1
cannot pass objects of non-trivially-copyable type 'class String' through '...'
What’s the best way to contact you? I bought your kit and was wondering if I could modify it a bit. Thanks!
Feel free to contact us through this email: ecom@hackmakemod.com
hello chad , great job
Hello! Thank you 😊
@@ChadKapper by the way , david windestall its great creative i have build first tricopter using kk board . i lke good joob chad
I am getting an error when compiling that states "cannot pass objects of non-trivially-copyable type 'class String 'through '...' It is doing this error for every sprintf() line there is in each state. Not sure what I am doing wrong as I copied the code it generated. Great build btw!
There is a good chance you’re missing one of the libraries. Please check out our guide to double check…

how to config the diy kit for acces the wifi?
Ciao ragazzi, possibile avere link Amazon per il vinile? Grazieeeee
is there a way we can make this work for tiktok
This has been working great but recently stopped working, i dont think it can find the information from youtube since updates. is there fix for this?
I thought it was just me cause I just added a mesh network but glad to see maybe its something else. I cant seem to get social genius website to find my channel anymore.
@@ChadsCustomCreations I get day and Time etc then a load of garble p?0 instead of youtube name and a load of characters for the rest . It did this a few weeks ago for 2 days when TH-cam updated things then it came back working until last week and its been this way since. It may come good soon but hoping the designer here can find a fix :-)
Can u make it battery operated...
dolibo code generator does not work - clicking "Code!" button does nothing. Can you please post the code to Github?
It works if you fill out the required sections.
Hi! this still working in 2023 (december)? Thanks!!!
Happy to hear that!
Very entertaining, but, I'll probably just have you make me one...........😁
Will do… Mom
Love you :)
Dope!
Bought this unit. Pretty cool. Question, it says 111,000 subscribers but I have 111,097 ? Is this normal ? 😊
Thats nice
Bonjour, est ce que ça fonctionne pour Instagram ?
Awesome vid! Wish you had more subscribers
I think this video would be better if the steps were more laymanized and less assumptions for someone new who'd like to follow along
But sick video honestly
Cool 👍🏻
nice
I think I'm suppose to bend a 90 degree angle in the tip of these pins with pliers needle nose pliers and come up through the through holes from underneath.
I feel like I'm watching myth busters again

thanks for the project, just bought two kits, is it possible to get instagram and tiktok etc added to the code?
Looks Like it has stopped working. Only the Date and Time are displayed and for the Channel it is displayed as NULL and when i try to update the details on code.dolibo the channel is not getting recognised.
Please contact us using the support form on our website and we’ll get you taken care of.
i was wondering if its possible to do the same for instagram
Hello thanks for the video and project. I am a new builder, I ordered the parts and wired it up and started to load the code. I can't seem to get this to compile. thanks a million for your help. Here is the error. Again sorry but I am new to this so learning how to solve issues the best I can. :) (THIS is the stock ticker project FYI)
